No chain hotel here, but rooms with some would say old fashioned and well-functioning furniture inside. Sleep quality and a quiet location are what matters to me, and Henri fulfils both demands. The mattress is hard and with two pillows to choose between, sleep quality was on top. The Meineke street itself is a narrow side street to Kurfürstendamm, and this fact in combination with our room on the ground floor situated to a small, closed courtyard, makes Henri perfect for a Berlin stay. The breakfast offers are as you would expect from a hotel like this one, and there is plenty of room to enjoy your breakfast. Friendly staff everywhere inside.

It was our third visit to Berlin and thought it would be nice to stay in West Berlin instead of Mitte or further east. Plus, we were looking for a hotel with character and a different vibe than the modern hotels. Henri Hotel did not disappoint! The location was convenient (although a little further from the popular tourist attractions). We enjoyed the look and feel of the hotel. The breakfast was lovely and the service was friendly and non-pretentious. A few minor issues, but none didn't impact our overall enjoyment. We had a spacious room with a balcony, which we loved, but could have better storage. The bathroom is functional, but on the small side and needs a little updating. The noise-proofing is not adequate: we were woken up twice at 6 am by housekeeping staff. We enjoyed our stay at the Henri Hotel.

This is a lovely place to stay. 1920s style decor with lovely high ceilings. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with lots of choice and their own honey. An honesty bar, coffee and tea. Our room was great. Beds super comfortable. The shower had great pressure!

Bin geschäftlich häufig in Berlin und übernachte gern im Henri.
Die Lage direkt am Zoo ist ideal und den Ku’damm um die Ecke zu haben auch sehr praktisch.
Abends noch eine Stulle in der Küche essen und ein Getränk zu sehr vernünftigen Preisen zu haben finde ich ebenfalls super für Geschäftsreisen bei denen man in der Regel Mittags bereits was größeres gegessen hat.
Die Zimmer sind fast alle in die Innenhöfe und dementsprechend sehr ruhig. Betten sind auch sehr gut, allerdings vergammeln in den Bädern ein wenig die Fugen und die Duschwände - da könnte man echt mal bisschen was machen.
Team und Personal ist ebenfalls TOP, hat man heute leider selten.

Ich war als grosser Freund individueller Häuser bis vor einigen Jahren Stammgast im Savoy Hotel in der Fasanenstrasse - als dieses Haus mit der Pandemie seine Türen schloss, stiess ich durch Zufall auf das Henri in der Meinekestrasse - und bin seitdem in Berlin in Berlin nicht mehr besser untergekommen! Wer ein Boutiquehotel mit wirklichem Charme, rundum freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal, gemütlichen und zum Stil des Hauses passenden Zimmern sowie einem leckeren und qualitativ hochwertigem Frühstücksbuffet sucht, der wird das Henri lieben! Ein grosses Lob an das Management und das ganze Team! Ich freue mich, bald wieder dort zu sein...

It is somewhat historical hotel with the atmosphere of the bohemian past!!! Beautiful interiors complemented by very friendly professional staff! I had a very pleasant time!
