This hotel is located right opposite Berlin Central Station, which is an excellent location! It's also very convenient for getting around, with both S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations nearby. Major attractions like the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate are also within walking distance. The staff are lovely, the rooms are spacious, and the soundproofing is great, making it very quiet. I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Berlin.

First time trying the steingeberger brand hotel - the service standard turns out to be better than the other international brand hotels. Location is just a stone’s throw away from Berlin hbf, super convenient. Greeted with a smile at check-in, huge lobby area. Room is much bigger than most Germany hotels, clean, comfortable, heated bathroom flooring. Provide bathroom robes. Would be even more ideal if the hotel is able to provide water daily instead of just day 1.

A Mixed Stay Near Hauptbahnhof
We stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be a ok option overall, especially for its convenient location. On the positive side, it’s situated right near the Hauptbahnhof, making it an ideal base for a quick day of exploring the city via public transport. The breakfast staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, creating a pleasant morning vibe. While the breakfast selection wasn’t extensive, it covered all the essentials:fresh bread, fruits, cereals, and hot items—to fuel you up for the day ahead.
That said, there were some notable drawbacks that detracted from the experience. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator on the 5th floor, there was a strong, unpleasant plumbing odor coming from the toilet area in the hallway. Unfortunately, this issue persisted in our room (583), where the smell emanated from the bathroom. Even after leaving the window open all day, it lingered upon our return, which was quite off-putting. The hotel was fully booked, according to the receptionist, so we didn’t pursue switching rooms. Additionally, the Hocker near the tea table was heavily worn and tattered, almost as if it had been chewed by a cat for years. The mini-bar was disappointingly empty, with just a single bottle of water provided. Sauna was off at 10:30am.
At €150 per night, this hotel feels overpriced for what it offers— I’d recommend exploring other nearby alternatives for better value and comfort.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right next to Berlin Central Station, just a 2-minute walk after exiting the station. There's also a sightseeing bus stop right outside the hotel, making it the most convenient choice for tourists looking for easy access to transportation!
