Lovely hotel, friendly staff, everyone spoke English - which given my awful level of german was needed. A great hotel brand. Gym was small but did a job

I stayed at the Innside Melia In April 2024. For a city break where your accommodation needs are fairly modest, it's a reliable choice while in Berlin. The hotel is in a good location with local transit and it's easily accessible from the airport. Similarly, there are a number of eateries only a short walk away from the hotel. If you're planning on exploring the city, but don't want to be an overly busy neighbourhood, it's a good choice. Customer service at the hotel is good. While there was some inconsistency in solving a minor problem with my room, this was quickly rectified and I was given a room upgrade. Staff I Interacted with were both friendly and helpful. My room was clean and uncluttered with a minimalist approach to furnishing. Similarly to the communal areas of the hotel, the room was clean and with good lighting throughout. The bathroom area was a good size but as an aside, it does lack privacy (if not traveling alone) as it's separated from the main room by a sliding door without a lock. It also includes the safe and luggage/wardrobe area for anyone who might find that a problem. Shower pressure was excellent with a good sized shower. Towels were also of a decent quality but larger bath towels could have been provided. While limited, bathroom amenities were to a good standard. The hotel gym is certainly modest and suitable only for a light workout. Although it does make good use of the limited space. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable, modest and cost-effective choice for a city break in Berlin, Innside Melia is a recommended choice.

Llevo una vida muy viajada y en hoteles de 4 y 5 estrellas por motivo de trabajo. En este, es quizás en uno de los que mejor me he sentido. A 1 minuto del metro y a 2 del tranvía. Por tanto todas las conexiones solucionadas. El desayuno, EXPECTACULAR. Ya no almorzábamos (COMIDA) ningún día. Eso si sobre las 19:00, nos íbamos a cenar. Un ambiente superagradable. Una atención exquisita. Y en recepción Español, Ingles y alemán. Muchas zonas de ocio. Las DJ, con música electrónica, ESO SI POR LA TARDE, pero sin molestar.

Ich war in diesem Hotel für eine Nacht einquartiert, da mein vorheriges Hotel keine Zimmer mehr für eine spontane Verlängerung meines Aufenthalts übrig hatte. Vorab: Das Personal verdient eine glatte 10 von 5. Selten habe ich so viele nette, hilfsbereite und unkomplizierte Hotel-Angestellten in einem 4* Hotel erlebt. Das war wirklich bemerkenswert! Pro: - Der wahre Schatz in diesem Hotel ist das Personal. Sehr freundlich, aufgeschlossen & schnell. - Das Zimmer war sauber. - Die leicht "verwinkelte" Lobby ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und nicht so düster wie bei anderen Hotels, sondern lebendig, trotzdem nicht grell. Egal ob Kinder, Hunde, Freundesgruppen, Paare, etc.Alle können sich hier gut aufgehoben fühlen. Man kann auch ohne Probleme in Ruhe einen Drink zu sich nehmen. - Die Lage ist top mit guter Öffi-Anbindung. - Die Zimmer zum Innenhof sind sehr ruhig. - Es stehen ein paar kostenlose Getränke in der zimmereigenen Minibar zur Verfügung. - Man bekommt bei Buchung ein kostenloses Getränk an der Hotelbar. Neutral: - 24 Stunden parken für 28 Euro geht vielleicht gerade noch klar, aber im Titanic ist es günstiger und besser gelöst und man benötigt noch nicht mal ein Papier-Ticket. - Bad ist völlig zweckmäßig und war auch sauber, aber es wirkt mMn. nicht wie 4* eingerichtet. Contra: - Die Zimmer sind stilistisch gesehen für den Preis mMn. nicht hochwertig genug eingerichtet. Ich finde insbesondere den günstigen Laminatboden nicht gut. Doppelbett war zweiteilig und rutschte unweigerlich auseinander. Vorhänge sind ein bisschen wie "Gummi". Ein paar Türen weiter im Titanic sieht es im Vergleichszimmer (ganz normales Zimmer, keine Suite) stilvoller und deutlich hochwertiger aus und ich hatte dort sogar ca. 30% weniger bezahlt. (Dafür ist hier die Lobby sehr düster und "spießiger") - Der Flur riecht ein wenig nach Reinigungsmittel (?) und es ist dort seht stickig und warm (Im Zimmer ist dann aber alles in Ordnung!!) - 27 Euro für Königsberger Klopse. 15 Euro für Currywurst... naja. Da kannste in Berlin schon sehr gut an anderen Adressen essen gehen. Fazit: Cooles Hotel mit schöner Lage und Top Personal. 5/5! Ich fand es ca. 30% zu teuer. Hinsichtlich der "Zimmerqualität" wäre ich mit einem absoluten Maximum von allerhöchstens 90 Euro pro Nacht einverstanden gewesen. 3/5. Fairerweise muss man aber auch sagen, dass es in Berlin für wesentlich mehr Geld auch sehr schlechte Hotel-Alternativen gibt. Es gibt aber auch für weniger Geld deutlich besser eingerichtete Hotelzimmer. Das INNSiDE hat in der Gesamtheit aller Features aber auf jeden Fall 4 von 5 Sternen verdient.

Staying at your hotel for 6 nights I found the following:
Reception:
Staff were not very friendly. We checked in online but on arrival, they did not provide us with a city map, no good morning daily etc
Breakfast:
It was good with a lot of choices. However, really annoyed by the staff collecting our plates/cups every minute. When I am on holidays, I want to have a relaxing time, to have a quiet time to have breakfast and being interrupted every 3 minutes by the hotel staff is really not something I have seen before.
Room:
6 nights and no even one single linen changing is quite surprising in a call “4* hotel”. No shower caps in the room either. We requested a quiet room and we got room 124 near the door and the cleaners room. It was “quiet” but if a customer requests a quiet room, the normal thing to do is to allocated a room at the end of the corridor not at the beginning of the corridor.
Nice “free bar” daily
Hotel was nicely allocated near the amenities by tram or underground.
Nice gesture the welcome drink and the points that can be used at the bar.
