Das Frühstück kam nicht rechtzeitig und nur auf nochmaligen Nachfrage aufs Zimmer. Die Unterkunft wurde über den Tag nicht gereinigt und erst auf Nachfrage gesäubert.

Es war mein 1. Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Wollte es endlich mal ausprobieren und wurde leider sehr enttäuscht.
Ich wollte um 20 Uhr einchecken, leider war mein Zimmer noch nicht gereinigt. Dann hieß es, es gibt keine freien Zimmer mehr, ich müsste mich eine Weile gedulden.
Dann wurde doch noch ein freies Zimmer gefunden und ich konnte dorr einziehen. Leider war keine Tür in der Dusche, diese sei defekt. Außerdem roch das Zimmer leicht nach Rauch, es war möglicherweise früher ein richtiges Raucherzimmer.
Für mich kommt diese Unterkunft leider nicht mehr zur Auswahl. Von einem 5-Sternehotel darf, nein, muss man mehr Erwarten.

I stayed one night at this luxury hotel to test it and come back with my partner or family. And I won’t. Too many issues, unacceptable for the price and expected level of this hotel. First, if you book a Premium room, it is quite basic. You have to go Deluxe or more for a recently refurbished room. Mine was on the ground floor, old style, with no electric plugs but the bed, and no curtains in the bathroom. The bicycle for rent at 20€ rate per day was not cleaned before being allocated to me. In the spa, there was no one to be reached at 9am to manage lights being off and an old apple core left in a locker … Bad impressions.

Zimmer hat seine besten Zeiten schon hinter sich. Frühstück ist sehr gut, zahlt man aber auch entsprechend für, Eierspeisen sind mittlerweile nicht mehr im Frühstückspreis inbegriffen, schade! Würden trotzdem wieder dort übernachten, dann aber in einem anderen Zimmer.

We had booked the executive suite. Nicely spacious, but the curtains were super dirty and completely discolored. Unfortunately, there were many things that were broken or did not work in the suite. When you called room service they never took it, most often they called back, other times not at all.
Filming was also done in the hotel without us being notified, and therefore could not use the lift and had to stand for 25 minutes before a receptionist showed us the way to some stairs.
When we checked in, no one showed us around, or told us where things were, neither pool nor breakfast, nor were we told when breakfast would be from and to.
But beyond that, it's a super nice hotel!

Gorgeous building, magnificent service, wonderful atmosphere, great neighborhood - quiet but easy walk to restaurants, cafes, shops, and transportation to the "downtown" areas of Berlin. One of the great hotels of Europe!

Unfortunately, the hotel is very run down. You need a lot of imagination to get a sense of the beauty of times gone by. Outdated rooms:
Room 54: cheap hardware store blinds instead of black-out curtains, no safe in the room, no conditioner, air conditioning was not needed as the room was far too warm (broken heating?), but it looked as if it had been installed in the 80s. Old carpet, no separate shower, existing sockets in the wrong places (probably also electrics from the 80s).
Room 50: separate shower, but not possible to switch from overhead to hand shower as mechanism broken, no water pressure in the sink, so sometimes no water came out at all, all in all a pitiful state.
The pool was new and a reasonable size - which unfortunately could not be said about the sauna area. This one also seemed to be new, but poorly designed: In the anteroom, from which the sauna, steam bath, plunge pool (not modern) and a single shower (three different shower heads, but only cold water, i.e. no alternating showers possible) lead, there was only space for two people.
The food in the restaurant was very tasty, the service started out strong and got even worse as the tables became more full. All in all, that was the best. The reservation, however, was very complex and required several emails and phone calls because promises of callbacks were not kept.
Conclusion: A terrible stay.

Rude and uproffesional blonde lady with glassws on reception (6.3.) Closed pool, closed bar and restaurant due to private event. You have to pay for eggs on the reception as well as well for the coffee or fresh mint tea. Amex building with Old used rooms. Not recommend at all
