During a stay I found that hotel has a huge problem with hot water, very frequent was only cold water. Windows are not isolages and you lissen from outside all also wind a cold from outside, heating is only via climatisation.

I rather other hotels by the zone

Location was exellent for our purposes, but the hotel was a little damp, maybe check for leakage. People were friendly

the question is: WHERE IS THE MANAGER OF THIS HOTEL? I am completely disappointed, especially due to the fact Axel is a great brand in Spain. No hot water in the shower, no bar, no bathrobe in the room, dodgy people from outside 'chilling' in Jacuzzi on Sunday morning which was meant to be for guests only... Absolutely disgusting. Saunas are working based on someones mood, jacuzzi is not jacuzzi, it's just a bath tube with hot water in it. No one cares over there, even leaflets around reception are 6 months old and plants outside main door dying... Very overpriced hotel with no quality whatsoever. Sad picture

The hotel is still worth booking even though it is getting on in years. Since the change in staff and management, it can be said that it has become quieter than it used to be. Security has also improved a lot in recent years. New cameras have been installed everywhere in the elevators and corridors, replacing the old dummies. The only thing that can definitely be criticized is that the German language is not understood at reception :-!! Sorry, we are in Germany, aren't we? What also needs to be said about my comment here is that my room safe code was no longer recognized on the hard-to-read display and the moving digital number fields. I informed the receptionist at around 10:30 p.m. that evening that my safe could no longer be opened. He then came to my room promptly and stood speechless in front of the 10-year-old safe. The statement was limited to the bare minimum:- I have to wait until the building technician can sort things out at around 9:30 in the morning. My checkout was around 7:00 in the morning and my train left at 8:00. For me personally, the *** ******* Queer Community Hotel is a huge advantage for introverted people, because it is definitely very popular behind closed doors. I arrived at the hotel a little early, and check-in literally started at the predetermined time. I had to go back to reception twice because the card was not giving access to the room. The next day, the same thing, the cards deprogrammed. Ok service, efficient cleaning, excellent location, nearby subway and abundant commerce. Excellent size room, small gym, nice sauna and whirlpool. I would stay at the hotel again.

I made the reservation and at the hotel the reviewer canceled my reservation as there was a police operation according to the reviewer. My experience at Axel Hotel Berlin, the treatment of some of those who work at the reception has been fatal, especially the manager, who had a degrading treatment towards my classist, disrespectful, indiscreet, since he divulges the guest's personal information among the employees and guests, causing a bad atmosphere in the hotel. In conclusion, the Hotel is great but the employees are fatal, pay attention.

The hotel could be fine if it weren't for the lighting. They wanted to create a soft and sensual atmosphere, I suppose. But when it comes to packing, unpacking, getting ready... you need much more light. I had to search the entire room with my cell phone flashlight to see if I forgot something. And when doing so you also discover that dust abounds in the worst lit areas. The people in charge of cleaning do not have X-rays nor do they wear miner's helmets. Otherwise, the reception staff were very friendly. No complaints about it.
