I had a really great stay at a&o Berlin Mitte. The service was excellent — the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room and common areas were very nice, clean, and well maintained. I also found the location very convenient for getting around Berlin. Overall, I had a very comfortable and pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this place to others. I would be happy to stay here again!

Kitchen was pretty big but always so dirty. Got my labelled groceries stolen too :( They never cleaned the rooms properly, all they did a quick collecting of washing but neglected to fill up the soap my entire stay (even when I reported to reception. Decent location. Huge hostel. The beds were okay but the pillows were uncomfy. Common room is always full but there were no social events to connect people. They had a laundry too.

I returned to this hostel as I had a great time on my first visit. This second visit was no different. I met two lovely Spanish girls sharing my four-bed dorm. I like the atmosphere of this hostel. Everyone I met was friendly.

I stayed one night only in single room with toilet and shower. Self check-in although you could use reception. I person was near the kiosks to help you if you got stuck. Nice vibe. Spacious common area to meet fellow travellers. Desks for working. Kitchen had some hot plates. The hostel is walking distance to the section of the Berlin Wall with art works. Supermarkets near by.
