We stayed there because it was close to our relatives' apartment, I didn't expect much, but it was still worse than I thought! "Reception" was poorly lit, with stack up tables and chairs and cardboard boxes, more like a warehouse and a bit scary really. The rooms were in the nearby building, an old apartment with old furniture and carpets. No carpet in the room though (only cheap laminate), broken tiles in the bathroom, and lots of hair in the bed sheets. We could hear everything from the other rooms and the corridor, as walls were very thin. I wish I had something good to say, but apart from the location and the fact that the price was better than nearby hotels (although I would happily pay more now to avoid Hotel Pension Spree!) there was nothing. Avoid if you can.

Avevo prenotato con Booking un mese prima 3 notti e poco prima dell'orario concordato per il check in mi è arrivata una email che comunicava che la mia carta era stata rifiutata e dovevo darne un'altra entro 2 h pena cancellazione prenotazione.Nel dubbio di un errore di digitazione ho riproposto il numero della mia carta (Postepay quindi Visa e ben funzionante) che è stata nuovamente rifiutata, ribadite 2 h di tempo. Per il check in non c'era nessuno dentro ma siamo stati accolti esternamente dopo 10 min da una collaboratrice che ha detto che il gestore sarebbe riuscito a venire solo dopo 30 min. Avevamo prenotato un museo per cui con lei abbiamo concordato di rimandare check in alle 18. Spiegato il problema con la carta, ha detto che avremmo risolto alle 18. Alle 17:55 è arrivata una email che comunicava la cancellazione della prenotazione.Dopo 1 min siamo arrivati per il check in ed il gestore ha detto che sono disguidi che gli causava Booking da mesi e che la stanza nel frattempo alle 17 era stata prenotata da altri clienti (orario in cui non era avvenuta la cancellazione), non ha riferito di avere riscontrato problemi di persona con la carta. Dopo lunga discussione e nessun aiuto da Booking (al telefono e via chat hanno spiegato che il pagamento è gestito dal proprietario per cui se ha avuto problemi con la mia carta ha diritto di cancellare la prenotazione) abbiamo dovuto prenotare al volo con la mia carta ben funzionante un ostello per la notte stessa e improvvisare le prenotazioni per le altre due notti. Non è stato possibile chiamare le forze dell'ordine perchè alle 20 avevamo prenotato un concerto a teatro. A buon intenditor le conclusioni...

We've chosen this location because of the situation and read nice feedback on booking. So, the location is probably one thing which was good. I stayed few times in hostels with a bathroom for few rooms, but this location is just awful. The bathroom is supposed to be used by at least 5 rooms (about 10 people or so). The bathroom is ONLY ONE!!! And it should be closed on a key, just imaging you're going to the toilet with a key. At least we were lucky and it wasn't fully booked, so we hadn't wait long. There's a basin in a room also, at least good to brush teeth. Everything is very old and renovation is needed. One more unpleasant thing: no kettle or free tea - first time I had it during my traveling. The bed was pretty small for 2 people, so a good sleep is also not an option. We didn't order a breakfast, can't say anything about it.
