Hotel Adele

The hotel location is good and the room is big and nice. However, the room needs more light and the toilet too. I was feeling the room is very dark because only one yellow lamp was there besides another table lamp but once I turned it on, it did not make much difference but it was hot and the weather was already warm during my stay so I closed that lamp. Also, you have to make sure about the check-in and check-out times. If you need to leave your luggage in the hotel after check out you have to know that you can keep the luggage until 3 pm only on the weekends and 6 pm on normal days. The best thing I liked in the hotel was the bathtub 🛁. Overall, I recommend the hotel but you have to be aware of the information I mentioned above.

Stay here if you go to Berlin. It's VERY central within the loop and near Alexanderplatz. I walked everywhere and loved where I was. Transportation was also QUITE easy.

Never saw any staff, hotel is not as advertised, room was bare, toilettries not as advertised, noisy neighbours early in the morning clearing bins and bottles, shouting in the courtyard, no waters in the room, definitely worth the price.

A nice holiday, but.... We were upgraded from a room to a suite, which obviously was great. So we had a positive first impression. The suite was nice and clean. But... When we needed help from the staff, we went to the reception. The receptionist was sitting with his feet on the table, and he didn't take them down, when we came in, or when we were talking. He was basically just rude and had an attitude signaling that we were wasting his time. At the end of our stay, when we wanted to check out, there was noone in the reception, even though it was in the opening hours. We called the 24-hour phone number to the staff, but noone answered. We asked the staff in the café next door, if they knew how to get in touch with the staff, and a helpful waiter called the hotel number on his phone. Still no answer. We had to go, so the waiter offered us to take the key and hand it over to the hotel, when the staff was there. If it weren't for the upgrade, we would have given a more negative review.

I reserved a room for 3 persons 1 month beforehand . This wasn’t a art hotel at all. We got a small hostel like room in the basement with milky glas to the backyard. 170€ for this not existing quality…! I am very very disappointed! The staff was not present at any time so there was no chance for a change. The pictures online seem nice, but the room we actually got was more like a cheap youth hostel! Breakfast is not included, only for 13€ per person in the cafe next door. Bad choice to stay here. Not recommended, especially for that way to high price!

Decent location, Room was great but needs a slightly less powerful shower or a rainfall shower head type to stop the spray going everywhere.

Really great stay at Hotel Adele, easy check in and the staff was excellent at sending details and service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Berlin. The location is close to a lot of great experience and historical places in the city.
