H4 Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz

The hotel is located in a very good place near Alexanderplatz and has good connections. The staff were polite and kind. My room had a nice city view. But the hotel has some weird rules such as we have to reserve for room clean every day and they won't clean the room regularly that I could not figure out why Hotel management made that rule. Also they just provide water for the first day as welcome gift and after that we have to buy.

Everything is old and outdated. But that is fine. The problem is mattress is very hard and carpet dirty, dust on furniture and shower curtain is stained. Pressure for toilet is low hence you have to wait several minutes next time the toilet to flush it. It is a 2 star hotel experience.

Good environment and location, in the city center. Good breakfast and service too

Location is good but the rooms are quite basic. Just towels provided, no iron or ironing board or slippers in room. Room was spacious and clean.

Great location. Central to many things. Ideal for travel from the airport to Alexanderplatz station, short walk from there.Close to many bars and restaurants. A comfortable room with a courtyard view, an excellent bathroom, breakfast was plentiful and delicious The staff were helpful. House keeping carried out if you require it but reception needs to be informed daily. This is becoming normal practice here and other hotels. Only negative there is no fridge which is unusual for a hotel of this grading

The service is what really stood out for me. From the moment I arrived until I left. One kitchen staff, Jumma, immediately spotted that I don’t eat pork so she showed me what I could eat.
