i booked this because we just had just one day and specifically wanted a hotel with pool to relax. the pool was under construction and there is no hint nowhere that this is the case. we felt scammed.
on top of that one of the sauna doors was broken and locked itself and was only to be reopened with excessive force. had to help a lady out because she wasnt able to open it on her own. i mean WHAT THE F! potential death trap. so yeah, not going here again.

It was too close to the train track for 30 seconds and a train passed by. The noise was too loud and it was difficult to fall asleep.

I stayed 5 days in this hotel the week before Easter. The wi fi was not working and the TV only sporadically. I was told that they were having a continuing problem with the server provider. There seemed to be no attempt to solve the problem during my stay causing me huge inconvenience. Wi fi should be regarded as normal as any utility like heating and electricity these days. I was not the only person to be affected. I asked the management for a refund on my return by email and I did not even have the courtesy of a reply.

Hotel is centrally located, clean, modern, great breakfast, professional staff, most of them speak German, English and Spanish. Walkable to the museums, Berlin cathedral, Brandenburg Tor. Shopping nearby, galleries Lafayette. Mall of Berlin about 25 mins walking. Public transportation next to hotel, Uber very convenient. App works great in Berlin.
