Meininger Hotel Berlin Airport

The hotel is functional. It’s a short train ride from the airport (in the direction away from Berlin) and a few hundred meters walk. Room was clean and comfortable enough. We had an issue with the AC and the staff offered a quick solution.

The hotel was not up to ordinary standard, we recieved obvious stains on our curtains (either blood, poop or vomit) including a harsh smell. In the bathroom we also found vomit stains who had not been cleaned. When we spoke to the reception about it they were rude and went to look at it. They explained housekeeping werent available at this hour, and thats alright but the fact that is was there without being noticed by the housekeeping isnt alright. The breakfast was mediocre, with dry bread and limited options. The hotel is not to close to the AirPort and shuttle busses are limited

I‘m impressed. I am from austria and me and my friends spontaneously went to berlin, but we looked for this hotel 1hr before we got there. Everything clean and super functional! From a former travel agency assistant. Wish you the best.

Travelled with a group of 109 students (age 15) and 32 adults. The crew at this hotel is amazing. Everything from check-in, arranging pizza party for the young ones at the roof terrace to help us organize breakfast and dinner. This stay was really remarkable when it comes to service and support. The rooms were clean and everything worked as expected. I can highly recommend this hotel for both business and pleasure.

Empty breakfast, crappy rooms, no service at all.... It is a good hotel if you are 16 year old and go in a school trip, no more than this. Last choice if you want a decent hotel. Only good thing it is not far from the airport, however any other option is more convenient than this.

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in and working for British Airways that’s quite a lot.. Got given a room looking towards a building after requesting a room looking south three years in advance.. I went down to reception to complain and try to change rooms and was told I had to request it.. I think 3 years is long enough to request a room! I’m staying for 2 night and asked to change the room tomorrow but was told that all the other guests just happen to be staying the same nights! So not only have they requested the same view from the room but they are staying the same amount of time as me.. I think it’s just pure laziness by the hotel staff. Then they give you a wrist band to wear so that they know you’ve paid for breakfast.. I’m not at a theme park!!
