Sehr einfaches Hotel, äusserer Eingangsbereich nicht einladend, erneuerungsbedürftig. Bei fast jedem Hinein- oder Hinausgehen gab es eine Person an der Aussentür, die einem für Familien unangenehmes Gefühl auslöst. Bei Ankunft war unsere Reservierung nicht im System, das Personal hat uns zum Glück trotzdem ein Zimmer gegeben und wir konnten den sehr günstigen gebuchten Preis am nächsten Tag zahlen. Im ersten Zimmer gab es starken kalten Zigaretten-Geruch und die Heizung funktionierte nicht, wir haben Februar: es war sehr kalt (keine Zusatz-Decken). Aufgrund fehlerhafter Raum-Vergabe durch die Rezeption versuchten jeweils eine männliche Person nachts um 1h30 (!) und dann eine weitere um 2h00 das Zimmer zu betreten, zum Glück hatten wir die Tür von innen verschlossen und deren Tür-Karten funktionierten nicht. … Das zweite Zimmer war wesentlich besser (Heizung funktionierte). Matratzen bequem, Bettwäsche sauber. Hochbett quietschte leider sehr bei jeder Bewegung. Leider funktionierte dann auch 2 Tage, bis zu unserer Abfahrt, das Internet nicht mehr. - Der einzige Fön an der Rezeption war defekt. - Frühstück war okay (Toastbrot, leider ohne Toaster, und keine Butter oder Margarine. Gurken-Scheiben beim 1.Frühstück vom Vortag…). - Im Bad leider kein Dusch-Vorhang und keine Dusch-Vertiefung, so dass nach dem Duschen der ganze Boden nass ist. - Kleine Mosaik-Steinchen im Fuss-Bereich der Dusche fehlten, sowie kleine Schimmel-Stellen. - Personal ok, hilfsbereit.

I really liked the hotel. Very comfortable big beds, quiet, stylish. I would like to pay special attention to the bar - an amazingly stylish place that every hotel should have! Hotels of this chain will now always be a priority on your next trip!

The place offers luggage storage, but categorically refuses to let you into the room before 15:00 without extra charge. For an additional fee, tea, coffee, snacks are available 24/7. Upon arrival, this place was not convincing - the hotel smelled unpleasantly and was dirty. This hotel (as they announce and offer) urgently needs to be renovated! While staying at this place, it felt like I was staying in a hostel instead of a 2 star hotel. On the arrival day I was changed to 3 different rooms. 1.rooms sanitary norm was not reasonable, shelf almost falling down if you put something on it, doors repaired and painted catastrophically as child would have done it, a yellow chair with brown spots all over it and etc. - therefore I asked for another number that was assigned to me. 2.room - Okay sanitary better then the first one but with dripping sink and BEDBUGS! I immediately informed the reception about the BEDBUGS, but they took it as an normal thing and simply changed the room, saying that it was free of BEDBUGS. 3.room was almost Okay, except dirty wall, mold in bathroom corners and insufficiently cleaned floor, but the feeling that there could be BUDBEGS couldn't let me sleep all night long. So wanted to check-out before the time and receive my paid money, but the hotel considered the issues resolved by changing the rooms and refused to refund the money. The whole hotel is cracked and dirty - it should be closed immediately, because such premises cannot be offered to anyone. My mayor was full of this place when the fire siren went off in the evening, which sounded continuously for about 15-20 minutes, because it is more important to record and punish the smokers of the room than the other guests who thinks that a fire has started.

The Ootel in Berlin offers a wonderful experience with its location, service, and price. The room was clean and comfortable. The free parking and wifi at the hotel were a huge advantage for me. I will definitely choose this place next time.

Ootel has become one of my favourite places to stay in Berlin. The staff is incredibly helpful and they provide a very pleasant a**osphere. The prices are reasonable and the room amenities are quite good as well. Definitely recommend it.

I didn't stay because there was no heating or hot water. I asked for a refund and they said ******* would refund me. I'm still waiting

The elevator doesn't work and my kids are sick because the rooms are cold I asked more than once to turn on the heating and that's why I left the rooms at 12am.
