And Chloe go above and beyond to make you feel welcome absolute credit to the company so anybody thinking of booking a stay don’t hesitate get your self booked in and the food is out of this world complements to the chef

Booked for a birthday weekend away to see Lindisfarne. Great location and seriously comfortable accomodation that's pet friendly. Staff are really friendly and the food was great. The only thing that would have improved the stay is if the water pressure had been better as the shower was more of a dribble.

Good location and a nice friendly clean hotel, perfect for visiting Holy Island. Breakfast was good nice food very well presented. Only downside was we could hear the extractor fan for the kitchen until they closed and the room was very hot!

We all had a lovely time with you at your excellent hotel. We were very comfortable in every way. Loved the food

Came on the way back from a weekend away been before for lunch and the food and service was amazing. Came for Sunday lunch the staff again amazing and very friendly. The Sunday lunch was very disappointing for the price turkey didn’t seem to taste fresh neither did the beef tasted a bit like cheap cuts of meat. Think we must have got one carrot chopped between the 6 of us who had the Sunday lunch. The gravy was very watery and just was not worth the price. Kids meal again for the price was very small chips covered in salt and the chicken was very basic. Kids fish and chips on the other hand looked very nice and there wasn’t a clean plate again portion size for the price could been bit bigger. Again I have been before and the food was lovely in the past so could just be the Sunday dinners. But for over£15 for a Sunday lunch would of expected a little more

Staff were really friendly and helpful which is always most important. The hotel is nice and really welcoming to the 2 dogs in our party (11/10 for that). The location is good and very convenient for Holy Island, Bamburgh etc. Breakfast was good. The dinner had was poor though, cold, small portions and pricy for what it was. Would happily stay at the hotel again but would look elsewhere for dinner.

The staff were fabulous. The young man behind the bar went over and above to help us. The food was delicious but overpriced. Our only issue was our room smelt of wet dog - Room 1. We understand that the hotel is dog friendly but dogs are not to everyone’s taste. Perhaps the option of a dog-free room would be good.

Group of friends walking together. We arrived a little early and said we were happy to sit in the bar and have coffees til check in time. We were then informed we had paid for one room to be an early check in which we most definitely hadn’t. Rooms were made up as doubles when we had requested two twins. These were altered but we were charged an extra £25 to check in 1 hour early into one of the rooms . We then went out for the afternoon and returned early evening and asked for the key to the other room. Manager insisted that we had already collected the key to which we said that was impossible as we had been out all afternoon together and hadn’t been willing to pay £50 to check in to 2 rooms 1 hour early. . She rudely told me to go and check with the rest of the group as I must be wrong. 5 minutes late she sent her minion over with the key that we had allegedly already been given!!Food was ok, beds passable, some staff definitely needed to attend a course on customer service!

Had a few days' birthday break here, staff are excellent, food is good, and proximity to Holy Island is a winner. The look after a whole spectrum of visitors, from walkers, cyclists (with a rack to do repairs & a bike wash), to casual visitors like us. Rooms are not large but are comfortable. Will definitely be back.
