Located on edge of town next to railway station.
Nice hotel with friendly staff.
A really nice bar to have drinks in.
Breakfast area ticks all the boxes, nicely cooked. . 👍🏻
Rooms are clean with tea/coffee facilities and complimentary bottles of water.
The room floor slopes slightly which caused a few 'staggers'
Defo go back.

這是一家挺有歷史的酒店，選的一室套房，是在閣樓，有兩個卧室，可以住五人。發現還可以，衹是淋浴有點問題，忽冷忽熱，不太好用。周邊環境不錯。

Michelle couldn't have been kinder when we were stuck in Berwick, train delays having made us miss the causeway crossing. We had five hours to wait and were made most welcome at the Castle Hotel. It could have been a very uncomfortable time for us, but allowing us a bit of space meant we could leave our cases and go for a walk long enough to fall in love with the area! If possible we will be back - and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

We just stayed for a couple of days on our way up into Scotland. Had to park in the nearby Railway Station, but it’s close and cheap. The rooms are well presented with everything you need. Comfy beds. A little bar noise in the room, but not enough to be bothersome. The hotel team were really friendly and helpful to both of us and our two dogs staying in our room. Delighted we chose this hotel, a great start to our holiday.

Popped in for a drink after a train journey to Newcastle. Roaring open fire, great welcome and reasonably priced drinks. Home tomorrow, wished we had discovered it earlier on in the week.

Just a few days chill out, recharge the batteries. Nothing was too much trouble, every member of staff extremely helpful. Would highly recommend it!!
