Hyatt Place Dewey Beach

Pro- all events for the wedding were held on premises; included breakfast was ok; hotel was clean; parking available for stay Con- television did not work on arrival; noise from restaurant/bar across street; would have preferred an option for a 1 night stay, instead of 2 minimum.

was here on business. I prefer to stay on the beach in I go to the ocean and this place is across a busy road and not a long walk but enough if carrying items to the beach. Did not think much of Dewey but Rehoboth was very nice. We used to go to Ocean City but got tired on crossing the bridge and going down little roads to get there. Took us 2 hours to go six miles across the bridge for here which is why we will never go back to any of these beaches-not worth the hassle.

Lots of restaurants within walking distance, great beach access, fun water sports activities, breakfast daily, friendly staff, clean rooms, very affordable rates and an exceptional place to stay with family, kids, or an adult getaway.....you'll love it..!

Staff is great. Location gives you walking access to two beaches, and lots of surrounding restaurants. You will have to drive 7 minutes to the rehoboth beach boardwalk. The hotel has a bit of a strange design, but the rooms are clean, and the lobby is nice with a bar. Also, there is a private parking garage. This will not be a stay at a Loews, or other upscale hotel. It is closer to a Holiday Inn or Microtel. I’m saying this because we stayed with Chase points, but probably wouldn’t pay the nightly asking rates listed online for the experience we had. It seems a bit over valued. But I think that is mostly because the location is great. Overall, we would stay again at the right price. The staff is wonderful, and the lighthouse restaurant has good food and service right on the beach.

I liked the different activities that were planned for guests in the lobby and at restaurants near by.

This is a very convenient location. It is attached to The Lighthouse Restaurant and one block from the beach.

Great stay. Only negative pool was being cleaned
