I feel compelled to write a review to warn others about what's going on with this hotel. We usually love Hilton Garden Inns and never had issues, but this one is in bad shape right now. There is construction going on, noisy, and also disruptive. The restaurant isn't open. Breakfast is a buffet (which they are charging for--should be free given the circumstances). The worst part is the key cards don't work. Literally, don't work. We were stuck in a packed elevator and no one's card worked, so we could go nowhere. Went to the basement at one point and had to have housekeeping staff use their card to get us to our floor. The staff seems to be trying their best, but this hotel should be shut down right now. We've been here less than 24 hours and have had to have our card reset three times. Walking up and down to/from the 9th floor isn't fun. It would be one thing if this hotel were super discounted and all these problems were made known to us upon reservation. Not the case. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because of the great location, staff who is trying their best, and clean, if dated, rooms.
