The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotless, well located and really good value for money. We were a party of 12 and all said they would happily stay again. A step across the road and you’re in the village centre, lots of local pubs and restaurants very close, though the restaurant, bar and lounger areas in the hotel are very nice. Recommend.

Have visited here quite a few times and was itching to go back as they serve such amazing cocktail's - the passion fruit martini being my favourite and probably the best one I’ve ever tasted no matter where I’ve been this is the one I would always say oh we really really need to go there for a passion fruit martini - even my mum loved them but it was a bit of a let down today. Not up to the usual standard which is such ashame as the lunch and service was really good but the cocktails didn’t taste the same as usual. They were very watery and we also had to ask for the Prosecco shot to go with them - felt like the bar was either too busy to serve their usual or maybe a new member of staff or maybe you’ve changed supplier (god no 🤦♀️) - either way I’m not sure we will make the effort to go out of our way to come here again as they aren’t cheap either. Three stars for food, service and ambience.

The Gwydyr is a great little hotel in a spectacular location on the edge of the National Park. You're guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome, great rooms (with the sort of showers that you really need after a hard day on the hill), tasty food from an extensive menu and a well-stocked bar. Highly recommended A***

Nice clean comfortable hotel. Fantastic staff all friendly and helpful. Lovely food, breakfast and dinner. We climbed Snowden, nice to come back and be able to relax, hotel has a drying room and electric charge points too. 15 of us stayed here, no issues at all.

The hotel itself was a great place to stay. Very clean, and room service was done when my partner and I had left for the day before we came back to freshen up before dinner. We didn't try the food or drinks in the hotel, but it smelt gorgeous when we left to go get something to eat. The only issue we had was that the heating was on throughout the day and night, so my partner didn't get a decent nights sleep. We had tried to stop it on the radiator, but it just continued to heat up the room.

I have dined here on a few previous occasions the food in the pub is great. This time round I stayed for one night. The whole Hotel is so clean and comfortable . The room itself is very nice and warm with comfy bedding Complementary tea & coffee and a selection of biscuits … Bar service is brilliant- with a great selection of drinks and food on offer…the great service runs right through the whole of the hotel.

Absolutely loved this hotel ,very clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful . Already booked a return visit in July .Highly recommend. The food was a good price and of good quality . Located right in the centre of village for easy access .

Went with our 8 month old for a N Wales getaway, everything was spot on, great food, great service, clean and spacious room and perfect with a baby, we will stay for longer next time....highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for making our stay easy. We will definitely be back
