Chic 3-bedroom apartment near Carthay and 10 minutes to Rodeo Drive. A+ location

We rented this unit for two nights for six people and it was definitely spacious enough, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well appointed, washer and dryer available and the beds were all comfortable. When I asked my group if we would rent this unit again we all agreed that we would. As a reference, we used this as our base and during the day we went to Venice Beach (30 min.) and at night to West Hollywood (15 min), we thought those were reasonable distances.There were however a few things we were not crazy about. (1) The host sent a welcome message indicating check-out time would be 11:00 a.m.and on the day of check-out they sent a message indicating that check-out was 10:00 a.m. (2) no back-up toilet paper and the rolls provided were not full (there is a CVS 1 block away that was handy) (3) the door to the bathroom with a shower is very difficult to use (if you have limited upper body strength you will not be able to close it) 4) they request you to place garbage in the trash bins in front of the house at the conclusion of your stay but they keep them locked behind a gate (5) it would be nice if they allowed for one car to be parked in the driveway (there is street parking but on the day we arrived the nearest spot was nearly 3 blocks away).Remember, I said, even with those minor items we would still find this unit desirable.

Would have been 5 stars.... This property is great overall. There was dust on air vents and ceiling fans didn't work properly in 2 bedrooms, but no major complaints. Until we saw a rat one morning behind the TV. Immediately contacted the host and the other numbers listed as correspondence. No reply. My husband and I tried to catch it and it ran into the hot water heater closet. We barricaded that door the best we could. Phone calls and text messages were made all day to the host. We didn't get a reply until 9:30 that evening asking if they should send someone over to

Good location, friendly owner The place was close to the museums and Santa Monica. Clean place. Owner was helpful when we needed anything. Would stay there again.

1250 S. Crescent Heights Decent crash pad for a stay in LA. The place is quite dusty. The ceiling fan in one of the rooms has so much dust accumulation that there are dark clumps of dust buildup visible all along the ceiling fan blades. The pillows are not good. I question whether the sheets were washed as we washed the sheets in the master bedroom and found a used pair of gym socks that didn’t belong to anyone in our party.I don’t know if it was the dust or potentially the dirtiness of the sheets (or a combo of the two), but an adult in our party actually developed bacterial conjunctivitis. Of course, you can get exposed to that in lots of ways, but I find the timing fairly conclusive. At one point a few drops of water fell on the kitchen floor. I used paper towels to wipe up the water and the paper towel came back very dirty. The floors need a good cleaning.The neighborhood is pretty quiet. In looking for the trash cans the day we were leaving our teenage some came across a homeless man sleeping near the property. I know it’s a big city and people need to sleep somewhere, but we aren’t used to that where we live and it was a bit startling. Dining chair fabric is extremely dirty we didn’t even want to sit on them. The kitchen is nice and nicely stocked. Overall we feel we paid way to much for this
