The Beverly Hills Hotel - Dorchester Collection

From the very first moment we stepped into the iconic Pink Palace, we felt its timeless glamour. We stayed for four nights during our trip to LA to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday, and every detail made the occasion truly special. The team welcomed us with birthday amenities in our spacious room, including champagne, fresh fruit, a beautiful mini birthday cake with candles. The handwritten welcome card from the General Manager was an incredibly thoughtful touch that exceeded all our expectations. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast at the peaceful Polo Lounge, while the iconic pool became our favourite place to unwind. One of the highlights was the signature cocktail served in a coconut with The Beverly Hills Hotel name carved into it, a small detail that perfectly reflected the hotel’s exceptional attention to detail. Our dinner at the Polo Lounge, accompanied by live piano music in such an elegant atmosphere, was simply unforgettable. We also loved breakfast at the Fountain Coffee Room, where we had some of the best pancakes and smoothies we’ve ever tasted. The Beverly Hills Hotel is far more than a luxury hotel, it’s a true icon where impeccable service, elegance, and attention to every detail create memories that last a lifetime. We can’t wait to return.

I’ve always loved my fabulous lunches at the polo lounge. This time I decided to stay for my anniversary with my husband. They upgraded us toa beautiful suite where everything was so fine and detailed, and laid out for us with fresh fruits, and a handwritten note from the manager. I loved shopping for items in their signature gift shop downstairs. I loved the pool area the temperature inside the water was absolutely wonderful. Theyhad amazing passionfruit iced tea. Everyone that came by working was in such a nice mood. I love the food and all of the drinks. The bed was comfortable. The sheets to the pillows. Showers were great and there was so many little items that were so pleasant to have definitely recommend if you want to have a nice sensational getaway.

This was 6/5 stars of a property - everything felt extremely luxurious and from the amenities to the service, we felt like celebs here. Our room was upgraded with a gorgeous balcony and we had a welcome amenity and plenty of waters (sometime I value hotels). The bed was very comfortable and the spacious room was lovely - from the jacuzzi to the robes, shower water pressure, no detail was missed. Another call out is how well they accommodated our 9 month infant. They provided bath amenities for her - all aveeno products and a teddy bear and it was a really nice touch. All dining on the property rocks - we didn’t have a single bad meal and the $35 chicken tenders are worth it! Only call out is that there is construction on the property right now and it obstructed our balcony view and disrupted spa services - which the hotel provided free enhancements for at our service.

We had a wonderful stay at The Beverly Hills Hotel. The staff are a real credit to the hotel and consistently delivered exceptional service throughout our visit. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made our stay memorable, particularly for our daughter, who was made to feel very special. We felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after from start to finish. The food was excellent, and we enjoyed some fantastic cocktails during our stay. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail all lived up to the hotel's reputation. We would highly recommend The Beverly Hills Hotel and would happily return in the future.

SKIP IT I’ve been coming to The Beverly Hills Hotel for a little while now because it used to feel like pure magic. Every detail was thoughtful and every stay felt special. Unfortunately, that magic seems to be fading. The bedding, which was once one of the best parts of the experience, now feels cheap and outdated. The duvet is paper thin, the pillows are flat, and the comfort level is nothing like it used to be. I even tried calling to get new bedding but after waiting so long and being transferred around, I finally just gave up. Service overall has slipped dramatically. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to get a response, even after multiple calls, whether you’re asking for basic amenities or trying to get room service trays picked up. Small details that made this place iconic like the branded key cards and attention to detail have completely disappeared. Everything feels stripped down and generic now. There’s also construction everywhere, which ruins the peaceful atmosphere. Yet despite all of this, they’ve added a mandatory 20 percent service fee even as the service itself has sharply declined. I used to come here to unwind and recharge, but sadly, The Beverly Hills Hotel no longer feels luxurious or special. Until the renovations are done and the service improves, I’d recommend staying somewhere else.

Yes, it's expensive - but it's worth it. Top notch in every way. It's an experience. Be sure to make a reservation at the Polo Lounge as well.

We arrived early for our check in and understood our room was not ready. W mentioned that we had booked a room for 3 and our daughter would be joining us the next day and we would like to order a roll away for her friend (which we were happy to pay for). We also asked if any balcony rooms were available. The front desk attendant was very nice and said she would try for a balcony room. We had a very lengthy lunch and then returned to inquire about our room. We were jet lagged and would have been happy to just get our swim attire and head to the pool, but they kept saying our room was almost ready. After an hour of waiting in the lobby (2:55pm), she came and said she would take us to our room. I was hopeful maybe our wait granted a balcony. When we arrived at the room, it was not what I expected, or as nice as the basic room we had stayed in previously. The room looks out at the rooftop of the lobby entrance and is noisy and not at all aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, there is a 4 foot chaise lounge that I guess the third person is supposed to sleep in, as the room advertises that it sleeps 3. We requested 2 roll aways. She then called back to inform that would be $500. Honestly, the cost doesn’t bother me as much as the situation. I’m pretty sure we were given one of the worst rooms, which she claimed was an upgrade. My “basic” room the last time was far superior. I’m just sad and disappointed as our last stay here was fantastic and led to our return.
