Quaint hidden gem. The front desk and bell stand staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave me a juice refresher upon arrival. It’s walking distance from places to eat on Beverly Blvd. Also had breakfast by the pool. Olympic is the main building. I stayed across the street in Canon. No elevator but stairs were manageable.

A Wonderful Stay at The Avalon – Highly Recommend! I had the pleasure of staying at The Avalon this past week while visiting from Florida, and I truly couldn’t have picked a better hotel—or a better location. Everything was within walking distance, which made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. What really made my stay exceptional, though, was the staff. The restaurant team was an absolute delight every single day—kind, professional, and consistently offering outstanding service. And then there’s Carlos at the front desk. Every great hotel has that one standout person, and Carlos is definitely that for The Avalon. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly helpful, always greeting us with a warm smile and a genuine willingness to assist. His customer service is impeccable, and he’s a true gem of the hotel. If you stay here, be sure to look for Carlos and let him know about this glowing review—he absolutely deserves it. Also, if you can, request Room 222—great location and very comfortable!

Jermey, Carlo, and Emerson consistently make my visit to the Avalon Hotel magical. I travel often for work and am always looking for my stay. The team is very attentive, warm, and welcoming! The beds are by far the best hotel beds I’ve stayed in. And the Vivian restaurant is magic ( the breakfast burrito and chicken club are a must-try). I have many choices when staying in Beverly Hills, but the Avalon is my home away from home. #walkable # midcentury #Marriott
