Great hotel in a great location. Staff is very attentive to your needs. Elevator could use a cleaning, bit the room was very nice. Roof top bar is fantastic. Short walk to all the atteactions. Some are literally next door.

Located in a good spot but otherwise disappointing. Parking is terrible. Overall a clean room but they were very small. The bathroom was terribly small and had a sliding fogged glass door that didn't close so you could see your spouse going to the bathroom. The room was only wide enough for the bed which was turned sideways so you had to climb over the other person to get out of bed. The roof top bar closed really early.

I stayed in the MicroKing room and it was AMAZING! This was my first real vacation and it was everything I could have ever hoped for! The location was unreal and the room was absolutely cozy. I love the micro room idea, it made the experience so much better and personal. The hotel employees were great and very knowledgeable of the area.

The king suite was perfect for this Dad and adult child. We got to stay together, but have our own privacy too. The rooms are unique, the hotel is in an amazing location, and you can walk to anywhere in town. The real gem of The Hotel Salem, however, is the staff. Every day Doug and Kayla would welcome us back from seeing the sights, recommend a good spot for the next meal, or just chat with us about our time in Salem.

The hotel location is ideal, the hotel is nicely appointed with comfortable rooms. It is however noisy, you can hear everything that happens outside your door.

The room felt spacious and cozy all at once. The aesthetics of the hotel are very cool - in that mid-century modern sort of way. The staff was super helpful and accommodating when I needed to modify my checkout time, which was an overall frictionless experience.

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They stored my luggage and texted me when my room was ready for check in. The still/sparkling water stations on each floor, with glass jugs to fill to take to your room, were a nice touch. My room was clean and I loved the mid-century modern decor.

Comfortable room and it was huge! Check in and out was easy and the staff were supper nice. The frint dest is ver attentive and they have cookies at the ready for you. The only downside is parking for your car, but luckily it wasn't too far and we lucked out on it not being rainy. Will stay again when we visit Salem.

They're not kidding - micro king is very very small! This is probably good for one person. Not for two. Not for anyone with any type of luggage. Everything was fine, though some finishes were not complete (the wall switch in the window wasn't finished), it took about 5 minutes of running water to get hot water, and the bed was very soft. It's ok for one or two nights. Thank goodness the ceiling was very high. I saw a normal king. That looked like a good room.
