Located on the top of a mountain, 1.5 hours' drive from Kathmandu, the hotel has a beautiful and quiet environment, good service, games and sports, sauna and spa, morning yoga, and hiking. The natural scenery is beautiful and unique. However, the mountain road leading to the hotel is in poor condition, and traffic jams occur from time to time. I heard that a new road is being built. If the road is repaired, it is estimated that the drive from Kathmandu will be one hour.

Fantastic view, well maintained resort in lap of Himalayas. Must visit as it is 1 hour from Kathmandu. Staff were very welcoming and helped us with our smallest issue during our stay. Food is really good, chef Deepak Mishra made special food for our 3 year old. Sundowners at Helipad is amazing.

We stayed 3D/2N in this mountain oasis out of the bustling Kathmandu at the end of our 3 weeks trip in Nepal and it felt rejuvenating ! The rooms are spacious with a private balcony, beds are super comfy, the breakfast and dinner buffet were delicious, staff is really helpful and lovely. The sunset view from the helipad is really peaceful and the panoramic view on the Himalayas seems breathtaking from the resort, nevertheless we didn't get a chance to admire due to a very cloudy sky our entire stay. They do propose several activities to enjoy but being exhausted from all the walking and hiking, we just booked a massage at their spa and it was divine, the best we've had in Nepal.

The Terraces has been an amazing and unique stay for myself and my partner. We need to really give a big shout out to Basanta and Rabin, two rockstars of The Terraces, always giving their all, putting their best foot forward, being so warm and hospitable and providing excellent services throughout our stay here. A special mention and credit to the chef, Deepak for always dishing out such top quality and SPECTACULAR FOOD! 😍 Such a treat and we have been truly spoiled by all the staff of the Terraces! 🤗 Thank you and Namaste!! Amazing views, amazing service, amazing experience. Food was exceptional, the best sichuan pork I've ever had. Massages were magical and value. Staff were very friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their faces. A must do in Nepal!!

My stay at The Terraces was just what I needed after trekking in the Himalayas. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing and calming, and the food was supreme. I went for the Sound Healing session which was super nice. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
