After staying in an Italian hotel for a week and a half, Hotel Liberty was an oasis of space and luxury. Unfortunately only for one night because it was a transit overnight stay. Automatic check-in goes smoothly and with the QR code obtained, both on paper and in the email, you can operate the elevator and the room door. The room is bright and equipped with luxurious facilities. The shower has jet streams, which are difficult to operate despite the instructions on the wall, but everything is neat and clean. At night, the roller shutters can be closed automatically. The view from the balcony offers the sight of the Swiss mountains and plenty of space around them. The beds are sufficiently large but have very hard mattresses. The breakfast is quite varied, but the breakfast room looks like a football canteen. Parking is available under the hotel in a garage with about 30 spaces. Everything is actually self-explanatory; an almost completely self-sufficient hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Unione. The Hotel is right in the centre of Bellinzona 5-10 minutes from the railway station and right next to one of the castles. The Hotel itself was very nice. Pretty sure it had been recently renovated as the room was very clean and well decorated. Not massive, but plenty of space. It was equipped with a Safe, a mini fridge, a coffee machine and a hair dryer. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The air conditioning was excellent. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, but I did have breakfast. Not a massive choice but plenty to choose from and it all tasted good. The staff were very nice. I arrived well before check in time and it was no problem to leave my bag until later. Overall, very happy and consider it was quite good value.

The hotel is opposite the train station, so it is very convenient to travel, the room is clean. Although the size is not very large, it is comfortable to live with air conditioning, we go to the summer, it is a bit comfortable, the shower in the bathroom is strong and the temperature of the warm water is well controlled. If you want to buy things at the train station, there is Coop, which is open 6-22 a.m. It's easy to walk to find food. Overall, I really like the location here.
