Riverside Campground & Cabins

Solid. Location was great, people were friendly and family oriented. We stayed in one of the cabins. Rooms were very clean. Bathroom was okay. The general store was well stocked and folks working there very helpful. We ended up crossing over to Big Sur campground next door for laundry, basketball, tubing, and the playground. Tried food truck sushi jawn and it was delicious.

My husband and I love camping. This campground was so lovely and peaceful. We were right next to the Big Sur River which was really nice. We did tent camping. I normally need white noise to sleep but the sound of the river (which was not very deep at the time we stayed) provided the most calming bubbling noise that we didn't need anything else to lull us to sleep. They have nice bathrooms and a general store with just about all the extra necessities you might have forgotten to bring it might just want extra of (snacks, drinks, water, beer, wine, etc). The location is ideal and very close to nice hiking and the best food! Highly recommend this place!

I absolutely love this place. We are new visitors, and they were extremely flexible when we had issues due to life chaos. Pam was extremely accommodating and helpful, even remembered our doggies names and had treats for them. I would go back in a heartbeat. The little store on-site is well-stocked and we wanted for nothing. Riverside for the win!! we will be back!!

Lovely. We stayed here for the second time. We adore the Big Sur and it s great to stay in the heart of it on the riverside between the trees. The cabins are simple but comfortable and have good beds. Shower and toilet within short distance. On our campfirepit we could make a good bbq. Great evening.

I was berated and more than a little concerned by the tirade unleashed on me by the individual in the check in booth. He was not able to control himself. Be careful or better yet, go elsewhere. Scary.
