We went to the Burgh Island Hotel to celebrate a wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived on the Sea Tractor we were treated like VIP’s and were transported back in time to the 1930’s. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, the staff were amazing and always friendly and willing to help. The cocktails were superb and the food was just sublime. We would highly recommend the Grand Ballroom for dinner. Dressing up in dinner suits and evening dresses just added to the whole experience. The hotel knew it was our anniversary and left us a small bottle of complimentary champagne in our room, with a personalised note, which again added to the whole VIP experience. Thank you Burgh Island Hotel, we will definitely be back soon!

Adventure and old style hospitality. We dined in both the Pilchard Inn and Ball room with the band. Everything was totally gorgeous and can’t wait to return with friends. A massive thank you to each and everyone of the team.

very good, recommended. Will go again. be aware that devon roads require sevral stops to allow oncoming traffic to pass by or vice versa.

Perfect afternoon tea. Arrived early but were welcomed into the Palm Lounge for a much needed cold drink. Had a lovely table next to open window with great views over the sea. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was brilliant with perfect warm scones. Would recommend and hope to return for a stay in the future.

We booked in for a 50th Birthday meal as guests in the Nettleford restaurant, from the beginning to the end we were very much looked after! All the staff were friendly and professional, wonderful food, lovely cocktails & wine. It was a treat and a Wonderfull experience. Thank you to all the staff for making our evening so special!! we also had a meal at the Pilchard Inn - amazing!!!

We had a gorgeous cream tea at the Burgh Island Hotel on a gloriously sunny day. The service was excellent and the cream tea was lovely. A highlight was the best scones we have ever eaten in our lives (and we've eaten a LOT of scones!). Full marks.

Wonderful hotel with excellent staff. Went for our anniversary and it lived up to all our expectations. The Tony & B suite is huge and splendid, and all the furniture throughout is delightful. It was a shame the mermaid pool was closed, but have another delicious martini and it’s soon forgotten!
