Hotels Near Fort Garden in Bikaner

We moved hotels at the last minute due to the state of the prior hotel. The staff quickly accommodated us and found us a room where we stored our luggage whilst we continued with our day tour. On returning they moved us to a larger family room with 3 beds and also moved a fridge into our room. There was no safe or kettle but these can easily be added and I'm sure they would have found us a kettle if we asked. The room was spacious enough and the ceiling was decorated beautifully, however some of the light bulbs needed replacing as many had blown. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel, a little above average price but we enjoyed it. Breakfast was simple due to few clientele we had an omelette and jam on toast with tea/coffee. This could be improved. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff did everything they could considering the last minute arrival.

We visited the haveli with family. Feels like home away from home. I loved how all the rooms were different from one other unlike the corporate hotels in the city. They have 10 different rooms in the entire haveli. Sneha was kind enough to show us to all the rooms and let us choose whichever one we wanted. The location is also very convenient. Rampuria haveli is literally 2 minutes walk away & old city market, Junagadh fort is 10 minutes drive away. The food, staff is extremely cooperative & cool. They made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Just beware of the auto rickshaw drivers and cab drivers, they’ll try and do anything to cheat you. 3/4 times they’ve cheated us after deciding the fate beforehand.

The ambience is very good. The rooms are not very well maintained. The breakfast options were good but the quality of some of the products was not up to the mark

Welcomed by the bugle player - a bit over the top for us! Though we did later discover that he also took great photographs. Amazing building part old residence and part modern with lavish 1920's decor. Room large with lovely decoration. Disappointed that the rooftop pool was shut for maintenance though we were offered a shuttle to the sister hotel but this was not feasible as we were only there one night. Breakfast was good once we had worked out the set up. The evening meal was also good but outside on the terrace the experience was marred by loud music not in keeping with the overall ambience of the hotel.

I had visited here last month and had great stay. This is really a nice property. Location is very nice and has good connectivity from railway station, bus stand and all market places. The services and staff are very good and make the stay pleasant.The food quality is very good. Properly maintained staff and the quality services provided by them. Like to visit again...

On the way back to new Delhi, perfectly located in the road. The staff were helpful, they provide break fast for non vegetarian. It was very cold , but in the room a heater was provided and we felt like home.The room was spacious and comfortable.

We have just concluded a 16-day stay at the Resort and I have to say it has been one of the most relaxing and peaceful travel for us. There is a lot that goes in favor of this beautiful lush green property but what helped our decision was the fact that this place was Pet friendly in the truest sense. We traveled as a couple with our eleven and a half year old Labrador. And, were looking for a place that was safe ( since i would be alone for a number of hours during the day) and would have open spaces for our pet baby. Thar Exotica ticked these boxes and more. The resort is exceptionally green for the typical landscape in Bikaner. And our daily walks were filled with the chirping of birds and the fragrance of the fresh air and the foliage. We chose to stay in the Deluxe room that is quite large and has a small private lawn. The property boasts of two swimming pools, which are witness to occasional parties. But, the rooms are reasonably sound-proofed, so you won't be disturbed. The resort has a very calm and peaceful vibe that is enhanced by the people who run the show here. And so, I am grateful to Mr Ismail ( for his management and especially for helping arrange for the city's famous Sharbat and Bhujia), Prakash ( for his administrative ability and his positive attitude), Roopinder ( for her cheerful helpfulness), Mimi ( especially for a lovely haircut at the Spa), Rahul ( for taking special care of everyday things), and Dinesh ( for the meals he cooked for our Labrador) and everyone else who worked happily and quietly. Food is good although, sometimes, a little rich for our taste but the resort accommodated our needs and so, no complaints on this aspect. Breakfast was good and adequate. Thar Exotica is a great place to unwind, relax, read or pursue any quiet hobby that you have. Or even to spend a happy weekend with family/friends. I didn't even realise how quickly the 16 days went by. We left this place with a smile on our faces and that really just says it all. Thank you once again to everyone at Thar Exotica.
