I was stranded in this guesthouse for 2 nights due to atrocious weather and flight schedules which prevented my flying out of this location. The lodging was offered by the nonflying airline. My room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The two best features were: -heated bathroom stone floors -the lightest and warmest down comforter ever. But no wonder: 300 common eiders were nesting at the entrance to the village/town The buffet breakfast was very good and coffee tea and cookies were available all day in the breakfast area. I could think of much worse places in which to be stranded.

I loved this place. Our view had a beautiful view of the harbor, the shower in the shared bathroom was wonderful (wish I had that shampoo), and the restaurant next door fed me the best salmon! The town is small and walkable. We loved it here. Unfortunately, we had to leave before breakfast, but it looked like it would be suitable. We definitely would stay here again, should we ever be in the area.

It was one of the cleanest and comfortable hostel I’ve ever stayed in around the world. From amenities to decorations, i could tell the owner cares about the place and the guests.

Super comfortable, very relaxing. Room was modern and clean. Heated bathroom floor. Shared space was nice. Breakfast was standard Icelandic style, coffee was good. I would definitely stay there again.

Finalmente no pudimos quedarnos debido al mal tiempo y los dueños se portaron más que bien con nosotros. Una calidad humana tremenda. Una lastima que no pudiera la finalmente hospedarnos allí, estoy segura de que tiene q ser un sitio precioso!

Wir hatten ein schönes sauberes Zimmer. Beim Empfang wurden uns die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung erklärt und wir konnten Bilder von den verschiedenen Hot Pots sehen. Der Frühstücksraum ist gemütlich, das Frühstück gut. Kaffee, Tee und Kekse gibt es rund um die Uhr. Kostenfreie Parkplätze befinden sich gegenüber vom Hotel. Aber das Sahnehäubchen vom Ganzen sind die super hilfsbereiten Damen an der Rezeption. Ich hatte mein IPad vergessen, unsere nächste Unterkunft war 350km entfernt. Als wir dort ankamen, erhielt ich den Anruf, dass es im Harbour Inn gefunden wurde. Ich war ziemlich verzweifelt und überlegte, was ich tun könnte. Am Abend kam der Anruf, dass es ein Herr mitbringt und ich ihn an einer 30 km entfernten Tankstelle treffen könnte. Das funktionierte perfekt. Danke Frida für diese phantastische Hilfe.
