First impression one gets of the hotel is the lobby which is very dark and depressing. It felt like the freight entrance. Second impression, I had to pay in full for my two night stay upon check-in. To me, that's not a very good sign. So, now I'm wondering if I've made mistake. I was looking to stay somewhere convenient but inexpensive as it was just me and I'm not particularly fussy. To the hotel's credit, my room was immaculate and recently updated. I was very pleased with this and expected a restful night's sleep. There was a tv, a coffee maker, a fairly large mini-fridge, and a clock radio along with the usual hotel room furnishings of a dresser, desk, desk chair, armchair, nightstand, etc. The towels were plentiful and thick enough for me and soap and shampoo were provided. However, there are powerful floodlights mounted to the exterior wall above my room's (Room 310) window that poured so much light into my room I thought it was daytime. In fact, it was 1 a.m. I only slept in short, miserable spurts after that. At any time during the night one could easily think he had overslept and a blazing mid-morning sun was shining outside. I could not risk another night without sleep so, despite having paid for a second night, I packed up and left the next day. Is it possible that those lights could be turned off past midnight or could heavy blackout curtains THAT REACH THE FLOOR be added to those room under those lights? I cannot be the only one who has brought this to your attention.

Stayed for a week at this location. Parking is plentiful and comes at no charge. The property could use a renovation as it's dated and showing the wear of the years. The floors in the room squeak/pop. The room was sufficient, clean, and comfortable. The television had plenty of channels including HBO 1 and 2. Breakfast was pretty good and always well stocked. I'd still stay again if I were in the area, to accumulate Hilton Honors points.

I was very unimpressed with this hotel. Lobby has lots of nice seating and room for meetings, but it seems they do not plan on reopening their in-house cafe, and with NOTHING close by, it means zero options for food. Their breakfast consisted of coffee, juice and boxed, preservative-filled pastries. The hotel sits within a mostly-empty office park, and is bordered by a river on one side and a highway on the other - nothing is available to walk to and the delivery options are limited. You will need a rental car. There is no hot tub, and the pool was closed for no specific reason. My room had a broken light switch, broken deadbolt, rusty patches in the bathtub, and it was stuck in shower-position, which made it difficult to fill a bath. And I was erroneously charged for two separate (expensive) snack items from the limited hotel shop. Next time I will choose a hotel closer to shops and restaurants that has more to offer.

Very quiet, large area facilities are also complete, refrigerator TV cabinets, etc., breakfast is relatively good! Clean and tidy! It is the best one to live in the United States for more than 10 days! The price is not bad!

Stayed at the Candlewood a while back for work, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was really delighted with my experience overall! Much better than anticipated for a two-star property. Everyone was extremely kind, from the front desk to the housekeeping, and I had plenty of space in my room. Beds very comfortable. Easy access to all surrounding areas. I'll definitely stay here again next time I return!

Definitely enjoyed our visit to the area. The hotel was clean and the rooms were excellent. Our room seemed to be updated and very comfortable. The room had a full size bed with a small coffee bar area. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows provided for a couple of nights of good rest. Every morning we woke up and were able to get a good breakfast to start our mornings off. The hotel has a swimming pool which we did not have the time to use but the workout facility was small but ample enough to get a decent workout. A major plus was the fact they had a charging station which we were able to use to charge our vehicle. If we are ever back in the area I would definitely stay here again. The amenities plus the price makes this a good deal.
