M-22 Inn Suttons Bay

You have to call the office when you need fresh towels.Two messages left at the office and no clean towels delivered. Maybe third time will be the charm.The room is adequate. Nice to have a microwave and fridge . Really hoping for fresh towels!

If you are looking for high end luxury, room service and numerous amenities, this is not your place. We wanted a clean place to sleep and bathe near the TART trail so bike and visit wineries. This was perfect. We spent most of our time biking or at wineries so did not need a fancy hotel. Was quiet, clean, and safe. Is the perfect spot to get on the TART trail and bike to Traverse City and then enjoy the wineries on the return leg.

The best thing I can say is that the location is convenient. The accommodations were sparse, there were bugs in the refrigerator and no screens on the windows. We would have changed to a new hotel had there been rooms available. Not worth the $. Another person in our group slept in their car instead of the room.

We knew that this was an older property so we did not expect luxurious accommodations. The room was adequate for our needs, small kitchen area was great for a quick breakfast. Our biggest complaint was the lack of daily housekeeping (supposedly not provided because of Covid - a little odd, since I would have thought that would make it more important than ever). We were okay with no bed make up, but it would have been nice to have the trash emptied and clean towels . We did ask for that one day and it was provided. We were also very grateful to the owner for finding my husband's carry on bag the day we checked out - we realized right before heading to the airport that he had left it in the room. We called and they had it waiting for us in the office. Overall it was an okay experience and suited our needs to visit family in Suttons Bay for a few days.

The property was great, it was a one room cabin that we used as a base for all of our activities going to traverse city.

2 night stay Rooms were not cleaned because of covid, but requested new towels were brought over promptly without mask Repairs were needed in bathroom At almost 200 dollars per night stay for one 2 double bed room, very expensive

We stayed in #19, the Chalet. The cabin was clean and really quiet. The setting in the woods and the front and back decks are perfect for unwinding after exploring the area. The location is ideal, close to everything in the peninsula. I will recommend the M-22 inn to everyone I know.
