Nice place, a good beautiful place to rest & relax. Like the peaceful environment. The villas are inside forest-liked surroundings, all the staff service here are extremely friendly & accommodating. The spa are good as well. Excellent service team !

The hotel is a bit old, and many facilities show clear signs of aging, but the staff still make a concerted effort to maintain everything, which is commendable. Some facilities, like the Kids Club, can be used at two other hotels in the same group located nearby.

The hotel is quite old but well-maintained, and the service is good. However, they have a restrictive policy: each room is strictly limited to two occupants. If you have an additional person, even an underage child, they charge an extra $120 per night, even if no extra bed is needed. Since it's an all-villa resort, you need to call a car to get anywhere, which makes getting around a bit inconvenient, although the cars do arrive quickly.

I stayed at the Banyan Tree for two nights and it was truly comfortable and delightful. The entire service team was incredibly warm and polite, especially the lovely lady at the front desk who spoke Chinese; she was so gentle and attentive. The Rainforest Seaview Villa truly amazed me. I saw monkeys and creepers, among other wild animals, within the resort grounds, making it feel very close to nature. From the room, you can call the front desk to arrange a buggy service to the restaurant, beach, or for a massage. The breakfast was rich and varied, with both Chinese and Western options available. The private beach boasts white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The food at the stunning Cove cliffside restaurant was genuinely delicious. All of the hotel's facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, feeling as good as new. Highly recommended!

Exceptional place, great views, impeccable service. Very convenient buggy service to all locations around the resort but generally walkable as well. Easy access to the beach. Very responsive service by WhatsApp. Rooms are clean, spacious and breezy. Overall an excellent stay.

Amazing destination for retreat. You don’t have to worry about activities and just spend the time in the room relaxing with the Jacuzzi and breathtaking view. Service was impeccable, staff was attentive and welcoming.  Hope that there will be option for cheaper food alternatives as it mostly consist of restaurants

Our stay was just perfect. It is a beautiful Balinese traditional set-up villa, every staff was friendly and so kind and it really touched my heart. It's a bit old property but perfectly maintained, I didn't feel it's old at all and I was rather impressed how well they kept this beautiful villa. You can also notice a great attention to detials, the person (people) came up with this design and architect must be genius! I was worried after seeing the review on bugs, yes there are bugs, but it's perfectly natural cause the villa is in the middle of the nature! That's the charm of this resort. I would be concerned if they use too much chemicals to kill the bugs. I hate bugs but there was nothing harmful - like a roach I always see in HK.. so I was totally ok! There are cute lizards roaming around too, I really loved watching them. I really enjoyed staying in Banyan Tree but most of all it was people who made my stay memorable - everyone smiles and greeted so nicely which really made my trip. They were very attentive and accommodating too. I wish I could go back one day!

We had a great relaxing stay at Banyan tree. The service is really good. Breakfast is good with local and Western option, however I find the breakfast option is a bit limited after 3 days there.

I stayed in the Villa for 4D/3N. This morning at around 5.30am, the drape frame fell on my face.  Luckily I have the pillow over my head and woke up with a shock.  We put it back but could hear the creaking sound as the wood is giving way.  I have written to the management to fix it before it falls on another hotel guest.

This is my first time ever leaving a negative review, and I'm truly disappointed with Banyan Tree. Aside from the room having a stale, unpleasant odor that made me feel nauseous, they offered me a late check-out *after* it was clear that one of my teacups had gone missing. As an experienced tea lover, a teacup, especially one from a vintage set like this, holds significant sentimental value. Now, one is gone. They casually made this offer at the very last minute of check-out, completely downplaying the situation. Normally, I take photos when I check in and out of rooms. The housekeeper who came in took a photo showing three cups, but then claimed they forgot to take one when I left. Later, I returned to find only two cups. After three days of investigation, they still couldn't find it, basically telling me, the guest, that it was my responsibility. They showed no regard for their reputation or guest satisfaction, merely giving me a perfunctory response. I will never stay at Banyan Tree again. Their way of handling this issue is appalling; no other hotel would make a guest bear the consequences of such an obvious mistake. I am truly furious!
