Very nice hotel and very good location. Nice, friendly staff. Excellent service, fantastic breakfast even shortly after the power outage in Binz. Everything ready on time. Highly recommended. The fish restaurant is great and there is nothing to complain about here either.

The location of the hotel is of course ideal and fantastic. However, I expect a bit more from a 4 star hotel... The reception staff were nice but nothing more. The room was in the old part of the building. Basically a nice old building room but quite small, especially the bathroom! There is hardly any space for luggage, no minibar. Modern and clean furnishings, unfortunately the door to the bathroom is in need of renovation - needs to be replaced! As I said, the bathroom is very small - you have to go in the front and go out the back! Some of the furnishings need to be renovated. As our window faced the side of the restaurant, it was a bit noisy in the mornings and evenings. Breakfast was good but nothing more. There was enough choice and the staff were very accommodating. Parking in the underground car park requires good driving as everything is quite tight but for €10 a day it's perfectly fine. Price/performance ratio could be improved despite the high season. I think that being able to decide for yourself whether the room should be cleaned is super sustainable and contemporary.

Booked a room with a side sea view, got one on the third floor, right at the front facing the sea. Room nicely furnished, not much frills and only the bare essentials. Rather small bathroom, just built to save space. Nice balcony with the aforementioned view. The hotel seemed quite cheap in comparison and met our expectations. Small deduction for the lack of a refrigerator in the room, but that would definitely have been the description. Breakfast in the attached Fischmark restaurant was great! The buffet left little to be desired and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Finally, the location of the hotel seems almost perfect. Within a few minutes' walk of the pier and yet not in the middle of the hustle and bustle, it is pleasantly quiet. Parking: Underground parking for 10 euros a night, but no vehicle longer than 4.80 m will fit in there! There is an outside parking space for 20 euros and probably other options a little further away, again for 10 euros. These fees could be included in the room price. We would book here again and can highly recommend the hotel.

the place and the standard there was nothing wrong with it but the person we checked in for didn't speak English which was a big shortcoming when you wanted to ask about things. There were staff in between who spoke English but not at the time. In the same way, it was when we checked out and wanted to ask why there was such a different price for our rooms. We were three families who lived at the same time and then had slightly different categories in the rooms, which turned out to be completely identical and with the same limited sea view. yet there was a 30 EUR difference in price per night. Why?

I am writing to express my concern about the language proficiency of the hotel staff during my recent stay at Strandhotel Binz. I encountered significant difficulties due to the lack of English-speaking staff members, especially at the front desk. The inability to communicate effectively with the hotel staff hindered my overall experience and caused unnecessary inconvenience. Upon check-in, I had difficulty conveying my room preferences and confirming the reservation details due to the limited English proficiency of the front desk staff. On a couple of occasions, I asked the reception for assistance with local directions and recommendations. They didn’t recommend much and unfortunately, the language barrier made it extremely challenging to convey my requirements and understand their suggestions. During breakfast at the hotel restaurant, I struggled to communicate my dietary restrictions to the waitstaff. Effective communication is a vital aspect of the hospitality industry, and it can significantly impact a guest's overall satisfaction with their stay. The hotel should inform its customers about the language problem before booking.

The hotel room was very lovingly decorated so that you could just feel at home. The fish market, the restaurant in the hotel, was also perfect. The food was simply divine. The starter "Haus Lissek" was enough for 2 people, it was so generous. The fish platter at the fish market, the fish was so tender, with the creamy pointed cabbage and the mashed potatoes that flattered everything with their taste, everything was really perfect. I hope to see you again.♥️
