We had booked through "Holidaycheck.de", but this booking was not reflected in the hotel. Because the hotel was sold last year and now operates under a different name (formerly TUI-BlueSun Jadran", now just BlueSun Jadran), the booking went wrong. The facilities are very good (safe, fridge, kettle, desk, large cupboards with lots of storage space and shelves. The hotel is beautiful inside and out and especially beautifully designed inside. Parking costs €8/day if you could get a parking space. If not, you were parked 200m away in a dirty lot. Still €8/day) The service and friendliness left a lot to be desired when you consider the rather high price. We are of the opinion that the room does not need to be cleaned every day and told reception that it only needs to be cleaned every 2-3 days. And now you would think that at least then it would be cleaned properly! But no such luck. The beds were only made up and the towels changed! The same thing happened 3 days later! It was only 2 days before departure that the lady got carried away and vacuumed. But that was all! The mirror was still full of splashes. The selection of salad, sausage, cheese, fruit and desserts at breakfast and dinner is very good. Which is something that cannot be said about the food "from the kitchen" at all!! No style, no quality. Large kitchen for mass processing. And again the question arises, 5 stars? When you consider that you pay €7.20 to €9.50 for a glass of wine with your meal, the food no longer matches it. The service staff are hopelessly overwhelmed. The table is not reset, the table is not cleared away or is cleared away very late. You are already seated during the first course when someone comes over and asks if you want something to drink.
