The young lady who checked us in to our room was so amazing. She made our check-in process such a breeze. She also represented the brand very well through her outgoing personality and helpfulness. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

Let me start off by saying that the service was mediocre. The room was absolutely disgusting. There was stuff all over the floor and it was dirty. We called down and asked for it to be cleaned. We went out for a late night and nobody came to clean it. We actually cleaned up the room late that night. We asked for it to be cleaned again. It was never cleaned. I'm a diamond member and I usually get complimentary water drinks but they found it necessary to charge me $10. A wife and I are not smokers but they charged us $14 for your smoking fee. When I called about this charge they said that somebody in housekeeping found it and basically called me a liar. They told me I would have to call back the mangers are in. He couldn't help me. I can honestly say I've never stayed in a more filthy and disgusting place in the Hilton family. They should be ashamed to call this one of their hotels.

From a totally unwarm welcome, to a smelly room with an AC unit that made noises all day and night while barely doing any cooling to unhelpful employees that "couldn't do anything" about the AC issue nor granting late check out even for Diamond members. Lastly breakfast was almost all gone by 9 am (they closed breakfast at 9:30 am even on Sundays). I really was excited about this hotel when I booked it and it was just one disappointment after the other.

Great service! Very kind and attentive. Let me know they were a 24hr service and asked if there was anything I needed during my stay. Helped me to my room with my luggage cart and helped unload my luggage. I think his name was Mike or Micah Whitlock.

The Tutwiler in Birmingha. Was a pleasant surprise. Classic and convenient to the BJCC if you are going to a show. Micah Whitlock, a Valet attendant was super friendly and helpful. The whole staff were nice and pleasant and made us feel welcome. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend staying there.
