What a disaster of a hotel! Echoing other reviews, DO NOT STAY HERE. My boyfriend and I chose to stay here as we were seeing a comedian next door at BJCC. We thought it would be convenient to have a dedicated walk-over close to our venue. We were completely mistaken. Upon initial check-in, the first room had a filthy sink. It appeared to be where water had backed up & was not cleaned afterward. We called the front desk to request housekeeping. After housekeeping stopped by to clean, the sink would not drain. They recommended we request another room...to which we did. We called what we thought was the front desk but ended up getting an extremely unhelpful attendant on the phone. It appeared she answered every single phone line but could not help us. We were told to go back downstairs to the front desk for assistance. Following our trip downstairs, we were assigned a new room close by. After moving rooms, we barely had time to change clothes and head out to the show. The hotel was somewhat under construction, so everything was torn apart. There were no signs indicating which way we should be walking in order to get to the venue. After wandering around the hotel, we finally asked someone for directions to the venue....to which they told us the fastest way would be walking outside. We assume this meant there was no dedicated walk-over, as advertised. While initially appearing OK upon arrival, the replacement room ended up being worse. The sheets had multiple holes and did not properly fit the mattress, causing them to constantly slide off the mattress throughout the night. Upon waking up to sheets halfway off the bed, we noticed brown stains on both the pillows and mattress. When morning arrived, we opened the shower curtain and noticed a significant amount of hair in the shower. Additionally, the shower handles had rust and appeared partially broken and detached from the wall. As I went to sit in the office chair, I found one of the wheels to be broken, resulting in an inability to roll. Perhaps the most concerning aspect of the room was the presence of numerous exposed electrical cords throughout. I am no expert - but this immediately made me wonder what sort of fire hazard this presented. To top things off, we went downstairs to retrieve our vehicle from the valet window, and the gentlemen did not seem to know which car was ours, where it was, or anything. It took several minutes of filing through paperwork & looking for room number(s) to identify our vehicle. It's 2024 and they are still using paper to sort valet? That's fine if it works - but obviously it does not work here. While I understand that this was a budget-friendly hotel, and it may not offer the same level of luxury as higher-end establishments...a basic level of cleanliness, safety, and functionality is expected. We will 100% not be staying here in the future. I'd much rather pay double to stay somewhere that is further away, if it means that I will feel safe, clean, and
