Excellent hotel, sleek by design, good quality rooms, and beautiful views. We will 100% be booking again as frequently in Birmingham. This is in my Top 2 hotels in the city based upon our experience on Friday.

We booked CubeHotel for a couples’ trip and were initially welcomed by a very friendly and professional receptionist at check-in (3 PM on 31st July). First impressions were great.
However, once we entered the room, things took a turn. The room was extremely hot, and the air conditioning didn’t work properly for hours. Despite multiple attempts to contact reception, the bar, and room service — no one answered. We had to stay in that hot room with no support, which ruined much of our evening.
The next day (01st August), when checking out, we tried to inquire about a payment issue, but the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive — a complete contrast to our check-in experience. We felt disrespected and ignored.
Unfortunately, this poor customer service and lack of responsiveness completely overshadowed what could have been a good stay. I do not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Reception staff is very poor. I asked, "What time is check out?"reception staff member: " :You want chicken ?"
Not just one but twice . On checking, demanding email, mobile number, and address. When I said , "You already have this informed ." I was informed they didn't my information, which was false. I had already received a number of emails from the Cude prior to booking in , with all this informed on the email.

Lovely hotel in an amazing location ruined by ‘sauna like’ hotel room, due to broken air con (which apparently had been broken for several months). Disappointing that we weren’t told in advance of this, then we would have had the choice to book another hotel. When we complained shortly after arrival we were told a maintenance guy would come up and fix it. He fiddled with the air con settings and we were told that it had been reset and would work in an hour. We went for a walk and came back to a just as hot room. When we questioned the reception staff they said the hotel was fully booked and we couldn’t change rooms, and that we weren’t the only people having this problem. I think this was a lie as the hotel seemed quiet, why not be honest? What I didn’t understand was how come there was air con in reception but not in the hotel rooms?
The restaurant at breakfast was empty, but the food was lovely and the staff were really helpful.
Shame as there is so much potential for this hotel, but I won’t be staying there again until the hotel owners make some changes and put the customers first.

The lOCATION was very convenient; as their was easy access to Birmingham Wharfside and Mailbox, leaving me with many restaurant options. For those that love to travel into the city to shop this is the perfect location due the Bullring was around a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
Upon arrival there was know one at reception to check us in; we waited approximately 5 minutes before a staff member arrived. However the staff member that attended to us we very polite at and helpful. Good SERVICE
The hotel rooms itself had an innovative modern style.
The bed was very comfortable and linen was beautifully textured, they were also very considerate with towel as they insured that spare towels where provided. I must say the the the rooms were very CLEAN I was also very pleased with the robes that were provided. Contrary to all theses great factors the corridors within the complex are in some much need of a refurb.
Apart from the hotel rooms there was no other AMENITIES because unfortunately the guest !NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO THE SPA! due to its closure earlier this year. This was very misleading due to the fact that the hotels unique selling point and main advertisement focus was the spa.

The air conditioner is broken. There are two fans, but the wind is weak and noisy. The room is stuffy and hot, very uncomfortable. They should compensate me... Not as good as GreenTree Inn, Hanting or other hotels in China.

The comfort and space are large, and the price/performance ratio is very good compared to London. It only takes 15 minutes to walk to eat authentic Sichuan cuisine in Deyang! I recommend everyone to eat at Shuxiangyuan! You can buy things at the small supermarket on the way back. The scenery is beautiful when you wake up in the morning! Prices are much cheaper than in London! A grilled fish is about 10 pounds cheaper!
