We went for a week as a couple with our dog to enjoy Biscarrosse and we were not disappointed. The “teepee” type cabin is very welcoming, large, clean and well appointed. Placed under the pines, the shade is good when the sun is strong. The staff were fantastic, understanding and attentive to our needs. A special mention to Chloé who welcomed us. A small shared kitchen and a code fridge, great! You can also ask for a broom at reception because you bring a lot of sand into the cabin. In addition, they offer surf and paddle lessons and rentals at a very affordable price. We took advantage of it.
Sheets are not provided but we were warned in advance, the cabins are very close to the toilets, which are quite clean (it all depends on the time you go there).
The only downside to our stay: the entry and exit gates being closed from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., you have to go through the main reception, where we had several problems with the security guard! First without bracelets (we were not aware that we needed them and were not provided with them), we had to call the manager to let us in. Then once we have collected the “2020” bracelets, the security guard lets us pass without saying anything, only to block us again the next evening!! Forced to cut the bracelets and put “2021”. We have the impression that the “Hoya Surf Camp” part is completely ignored at the main reception.
