Novotel Bishkek City Center Reviews

Decided to book the same hotel for our return leg after trekking in Karakol. First stay at Novotel was excellent (see my other review) but the second stay was horrible. Check in time was 3pm so we went out for lunch and got back at 3.20pm only to be told that one of the two rooms was not available. Reception staff, Zania, was rude and unapologetic and didn't even bothered to provide an estimated time. Another receptionist told us it would be about 30 mins and they would send the keys to the room. We went into the room and at 4.15pm we called the reception desk and they told us they will deliver the key in 5 mins. 10 mins have passed before the key was delivered. 5-star hotel with poor time management and bad service - no follow up on room key. Other areas were good though EXCEPT front desk staff. Staff at massage/pool were polite, so were the restaurant staff. Please educate your front desk staff especially Ms Zania, as they are the first line of service.

Perfect for an overnight layover - near the airport and they have an airport shuttle with no additional cost. Staff can not speak English; however they were so helpful! I communicated with them directly via WeChat.

My friend had lost her luggage and needed some help to contact the airport / airlines. The receptionists were extremely helpful and active in reaching out to all channels available. Even after we checked out, they helped us to follow up. Was a great stay! 10/10 would recommend!

Nice hotel in Bishkek

The room is indeed relatively clean, and the bedding is relatively clean. But the towel is a bit hard. The room is relatively small. Toothbrush water and hygiene need to be serviced. There are no smart facilities in the room. There are many types of breakfast, but Chinese people can only eat that much. Every day, you can only eat leftovers, eggs, fruits and croissants. In general, such a high-priced hotel and service do not match. Overall, it looks like a newly built economy hotel in China. At most, it is 3.5 stars.

The room has a hairdryer, a kettle, and coffee/tea, but no toothbrush. You may be able to get one at the reception. The room was clean, spacious, and had a great view, so I was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and I especially liked the vegetables.

Nice room on the 9th floor. Clean. The only downside is that breakfast is not included in the price.

Very nice hotel where you can eat and drink

This hotel is already considered a very good one in Bishkek, because almost all hotels in Bishkek are not cost-effective. This hotel has a good environment and location. The only drawback is that the price is really not cheap. At this price, you can choose a very good hotel in any city in the country.

The facilities are slightly better than those of domestic express hotels, with narrow rooms and bathrooms. It may be because of the limited conditions in Bishkek, and the price-performance ratio is too poor compared with that in China.
