Premier Inn Bishop Auckland

Clean simple hotel with good parking. All Staff were pleasant. Wine in the pub attached is a bargain by the bottle. Heap at the price we paid

This is our second visit to this hotel and I am pleased to say even with a 1 year gap they definitely did not disappoint us. ALL the staff were friendly and very welcoming. I cannot fault any of them ..The rooms, as before, were clean and tidy. Tea and coffee in the rooms. Easily replaced by the stand in reception.. We had an issue with the battery in our door which was dealt with quickly and efficiently. They were totally understanding that we needed to be close to my 87 yr old mum so gave us a 2 rooms with ajoining doors... Brilliant as my mum was a little unsure of staying of being by herself.. I would definitely recommend this Premier Inn to anyone.. The restaurant next door,Tindale crossing, is well worth it. Staff also fantastic. They went over and above helping us surprise my cousin who didn't know we were visiting.. Excellent all round location for visiting so many sites. Just browse through the many information leaflets that both have in there reception or better sill ,ask the staff they definitely will help you have a great stay I this beautiful part of the country.

We've just returned from staying at the Premier Inn at Bishop Auckland. Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly David and Mel who sorted out a blip over our two separate bookings for us. We slept like logs; it was very difficult to get out of bed both mornings as we were too comfortable. We hadn't opted for any meals as prefer to source our own when on the move each day. However we did visit the Brewer's Fayre next door both evenings for a drink. Again, really nice people working there for whom nothing was too much trouble and on Sunday evening we decided to try their carvery which was excellent. We'd never been to Bishop Auckland before - we had such a great welcome, we will definitely be back.

We stay here regularly on trips north and it is always a pleasure to return. The accommodation is comfortable and well-maintained; the food enjoyable and the staff extremely friendly and always helpful. More expensive places could learn a thing or two!

Friendly reception. Very helpful as signposted us to superchargers for EV. Second visit to hotel as use for base whilst exploring the Auckland Project. Good breakfast with fast service.

Staff are very helpful and go above and beyond to look after guests. Rooms are very clean and we were made to feel welcome. Good location and food was great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the local area. Thank you

Third time in this hotel,Melodie the reception is very good, cheerful and she gave us all the information we require to enjoy our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds and pillows so it's good for the price.hotel is very quiet and we had a good sleep. Breakfast was good for the price.

I have stayed here before and have to say it is always a pleasant experience. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean rooms. Brewers Fayre next door offers good food and a reasonable price.

Booked in easily staff helpful and friendly. Room was fine as expected clean no broken equipment. There appears to be an issue with the door pass it had to be reprogrammed several times.
