This was maybe the only major chain hotel in Ako at this time. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me and my only drawback I found was the lack of amenities. Ako for me was a must so this was the only real choice I had; now the real big plus is that it is attached to this small train station creating a possible future anchor spot in town.

The beautiful Seto Inland Sea spreads out in front of you when you enter the entrance! The view from the room with Hiro 々 can also see the beautiful sea and the dotted island 々. The facilities in the room are perfect because the bath and toilet are separated. The food was delicious, but the breakfast steak was great. (Good quality beef) You can also drive to the olive garden in a few minutes.

We used it for business. The front desk was empty around ２１ when we arrived. It is a little difficult to understand the entrance, but you will go up to ２ floor by elevator. (The entrance is closed at ２４, and then a card key is required) The elevator will always stop once on the ２ floor when you go up or down. There were two family baths (only in the order of the person who entered) in 3F, and the couple used it, so the small one (2 washrooms) was used. The large one was the size of the 4 family with 2 children (3 washrooms). Alexa was installed in the room. There were two mineral waters in the refrigerator for service. I was satisfied except that the air conditioning sound set in the cooling was large because of old. The room was beautiful. There were quite a few restaurants nearby and I want to have breakfast that the inn boasts next time.

The hotel in Takamatsu city was very high and I didn't feel like staying at all, so I decided to stay at Shodo Island. I chose this inn with a high reputation among them. The inn is a minute walk when you leave the high-speed ship terminal at Dojo port. It is very close and convenient, and the bus stop is also right next to it, so I think it is the best location to go around Shodo Island. Check-in is smooth. The lobby is large and souvenir shops are complete. There are books, chairs, insect removal sprays, and it is relaxing, and it is exhausted. You can also leave your luggage before and after the stay. It is for pilgrimage to prepare water on the front door? Old-fashioned customs stir the willingness of travel. There is also an elevator, so it is safe for those who are inconvenient. The room became a room facing the road of 3 floor and 8 tatami mats. It is enough for two people. There are TV and hot water, but bath, toilet and washing are joint. Yukata is prepared. The men's toilet also had hot water washing. The bath is not large, but it is a level that is not a problem even if it enters with several people. The facilities are old, but they are clean and above all, the husband's lady is very kind. It is worth staying enough. The price is not so high, and if you choose a plan, you can have dinner and breakfast. Convenience stores are close even if you stay overnight. If you stay at Shodo Island, you can relax because you can precede those who come from uno and Takamatsu on the next day's sightseeing. It is especially recommended for those who are used for Setouchi Island 々. It is an inn that I want to use next time.

I was looking for a hotel with parking and Wi-Fi on a business trip and was able to spend comfortably １ people. Television is a type that cannot be mirrored. I was booking, but I was confused without knowing why I should do it at the front desk in the form. It seems to connect with the phone at the front desk. Is right at night spot area about 7-10 minutes walk from the JR station. Good for people wish to stay late. Front desk staffs are nice and helpful. Can’t ask for more for this price. A definite choice for limited budget guest. Even with a bath tub 👍
