This is really a lovely property. Friendly, helpful staff; exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms; and a short walk to the center of the historic district for dining and shopping. Highly recommend.

We stayed the weekend and it was perfect. Just off the interstate and very close to most dining in Black Mountain. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, decent hot breakfast, and an indoor swimming pool.

Fairly recently remodeled, the property was fresh and well laid out. We will definitely be looking for Hampton or other Hilton facilities in the future.

Very good hotel all the way around. I chose it for a 1 nite getaway for me and husband based on my Hilton Honors experience and the traveler reviews. I really liked it. Super clean everywhere, modern, bright. The bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh and warm enough. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the room. Everything worked like it should - fridge, microwave, lamps, charging ports. I usually don't eat breakfast but tried the omelette and coffee - both good. I'll come back here again, and will recommend.

With what we paid for the hotel room, I expect the room to be cleaned everyday along with fresh towels. In room coffee is so weak it tastes like dirty water and the breakfast bar version wasn't much better. These are not the two areas to cut corners on in our minds!

The shower stall needs better foot gripping on the floor. The closet/bathroom door is too heavy and cumbersome. Needs separate doors.
