This hotel was ideally situated for us. We were only in the area for one night & this was a great choice. I checked before booking to make sure there were no games on as this hotel overlooks the Kassam football stadium. The area is quiet & laid back of the road with a large car park & large hedge screening it. We wanted to go into Oxford & there was a bus stop directly outside , this saved the problem of trying to find somewhere to park in a city that doesn’t encourage traffic . Being in our 70s we used our bus passes so it didn’t cost anything & took about 40 minutes. Breakfast at the hotel was good. There is a complex a short walk from the hotel which contains a cinema & several restaurants as the hotel doesn’t serve evening meals. Room was very comfortable, clean & quiet. Staff very pleasant & friendly , particularly on reception.

Lovely hotel, it was our first time here… staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect for our stay… breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice which was great. Hotel is spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Overall we, as a family, were very impressed.

Was given a room at the end of the corridor and the corridor window was open and I could not shut it. Chilly in room and could hear the traffic.
