Travelodge Blackpool South Promenade

Hotel parking is ridicules, however there us ample parking right next to hotel £14.00 for 24 hours. Reception area was clean and tidy and check in was fast and straightforward. Rooms clean and they come with a fan which was fantastic. Beds were ok. Location was fantastic. Would definitely go back again.

I was truly disappointed with the hotels services E.g The WiFi was not working in the bedrooms and only in the lobby.The receptionist were not that polite.My daughter who is deaf was told when she complained about the WiFi and she was told that it’s not the hotels responsibility for the WiFi.

All good have stayed there before

The smell of the rooms is awful. Smell of a mouldy swimming pool. Musty. Also they need to sort out the sound proofing as I could hear nearly everything my neighbours said and the doors clacking away.

Very basic. Very dirty windows. Generally uncomfortable. Not good value for money. A much better experience in another budget hotel the previous night.

Stayed here during the easter holidays for one night away with my girlfriend & daughter. Room was very clean and staff friendly. Food in bar cafe was good and reasonably priced. Even though it's close to the pleasure beach We enjoyed a quiet stay.

Located right next to the Pleasure Beach and near the South/Pleasure Beach train stations. Inside was very basic. Was charged £10 to check in early as they don't have a luggage room which isn't ideal when travelling in so heads up on this if you have a lot of luggage and anticipate being early (which can't exactly always be helped due to train times and weather). Sink soap dispenser in the room was empty and actually broken (weren't told about this nor was it fixed after mentioning to reception three times). Gave up and just used the shower body soap dispenser to wash our hands instead (which left a dirty dripped marked down the side of the bath which wasn't actually cleaned for when we arrived or during our stay). Even though we arrived early, they said our room was ready and still took the money even with these issues. No plug sockets next to the bed, only USB adapter sockets so if you have a USB C device, you'll need to plug in away from the bed. Not exactly a major issue but a little annoying. Staff weren't rude but weren't overly pleasant. Don't think we saw anyone smiling when interacting with us or other customers. Breakfast very bland and basic and when we asked if they had a microwave we could use or if they could heat up some baby food they hummed and ho'd and said no. Again, not a huge issue but just to be aware of if you're travelling with young babies/baby food/purees etc. Was pretty quiet being so near the Pleasure Beach and for this and the location being very handy would be the main reason we would consider staying again.

To place a well maintained hotel right next to my ideal destination of the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, you can't go wrong for a good value hotel.
