The Woodland Hotel

The hotel location wasn't good at all it's far from the beach. The hotel rooms were tiny and one of the rooms had water leakage. Shower water wasn't hot I have to wait 10 min to warm water to come. Also, they took £40 deposit even I paid the full amount for my stat online and it took 8 days to return back to my account. Overall, I would suggest not to stay this hotel ever...

The service was ok, the room was clean as a whole, and the amenities were good.

Kyle the manager was exceptional very caring and great st his job..a good all rounder .The single bed mattress i slept on was the worst sleep ive ever experienced springs digging into my back i slept on the floor most of the night,Kyle gfitted me duvet over the matress but i was quite shocked to see the state of the mattress stains of bodily fluids all over it was ver discusting, not wanting to make a fuss i said nothbut i could see that Kyle was embarred at the filty matress..I was feeling dirty all night thinking of the stains and how un healthy that this was ,ive seen betyer matresses skipped ..I cant fault kyle i hope he moves on to better managment duties in his future for a decent hotel hes a very good person who i hope does well ,all in all mixed feelings i would not recomend this establishment thats run on a shoe string !!!!!!.Stay away i still feel dirty even after a shower.

Would not recommend this property freezing cold damp bedding pillows etc radiator did nothing paid parking £9 don’t bother have to get round back in tiny spot and doesn’t look safe !!! Up most night as I was very cold bathroom to small can’t have shower or get dressed in there bed was makeshift bed diy with wood screwed together damp on walls and breakfast not any better I sausage scram egg and teaspoon beans herb mushrooms and hash brown didn’t eat tasted like dirty grease they were cooked in

Rooms are very small not much space. The beds were so uncomfortable and not very stable. Everytime you moved the beds made really loud creeks and woke you up. Room was absolutely freezing even though the radiator was up high. Kept waking all night shivering from being cold. Between the cold room and the awful beds we had to check out after one night. We would have left the same night but there was so staff around after 8 which we hadn't been in the room before then to try out the beds properly or see how cold it was. Asked for a refund of the rest of our stay to be told I had to contact manager and owner on a phone number and email both of which have never been answered to as clearly reception gave them a heads up we were unhappy and going to contact. More angry that the poor conditions of this hotel ruined our first time to Blackpool and our time we were to enjoy meeting friends. Ps dont pay for the parking it's £9 a day and you can't use your car there's a carpark down the road that you can come and go from with a lovely owner. Only positive is the hotels not far to walk to the main *****.

We had a great stay at the woodland. Room was spacious, well-equipped and clean. Great location and very close to the centre of Blackpool. We were made to feel very welcome by the host :)

The room was really tiny and the shower was difficult to get into. The mattress was too small for the bed frame and there was a 6 inch gap. The shelves were wobbly and the paint was scratched off the chest of draws. The room was very noisy and we ended up calling the police at 3am due to a disturbance across the road at another hotel. Was booked for 3 nights but only stayed 1.
