Hotel was really nice, room was spacious, and clean. Reception and hotel staff very welcoming. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality hotel.

Couldn't find it，locate no where，Made mistake，terrible experimence，so expensive，we got lost in the countryside，and no taix take us to there，I travel from abroad。just waste my money！unpleasant ！

Booked to stay for a bridal party (we was never loud, very considerate guests may I add) & upon arrival, found the rooms very clean, pleasant & tidy. Lovely staff etc so was very good first impressions. We then headed for the Grill restaurant at the back of the hotel.... we was stood waiting to be taken to our seats for a little while (staff just chattering away ignoring customers) so we sent one of the girls to the find somebody. We was then shown to our table. The prices for the standard of food (small portions) was horrendous. Never have a I known such a lack of quality for the price you pay for a burger or wrap.... Not to mention when ordering the food and drinks, because the very young bar staff was chatting away not concentrating they took incorrect orders and drinks down. It is a very good job nobody was allergic! We then waited over an hour for some pudding that I did ask about after 30 minutes (the bar was very quiet and not busy at all) Very disappointed in the poor service, food quality & overall experience. This is why we never dined in there for the rest if our stay. HOWEVER... I will say the breakfast restaurant at the front was FABULOUS. Very clean, tidy and tons of options for breakfast. The hotel was spot on otherwise and very comfortable beds. Shame about the restaurant.

Not stayed here for a while Rooms modernised stayed upper deck Bed massive and so so comfy Bed linen white and crisp Been painted in sea side colours Tea /coffee in room and replenished Towels white and fluffy Nice shower gel in bathroom Went swimming pool nice and warm as was the outside pool Jacuzzi not fully working some keys not working Steam room closed but didn't spoil the fun Reception staff friendly There is a free taxi phone in reception Heating in room lovely and cosy No noise at night and honestly had great sleeps pillows very comfy

Hotel, room, gym and swim facilities were amazing!! 10/10 and would defiantly return. Wanted to have an alcohol drink at the bar and grill at night advertised were cocktails... they didnt have any, malibu... didnt have any... archers... didnt have any, ended up having to go out of hotel and go elsewhere but still only issue i felt was just wanting to relax in hotel bar and have a drink but little option. Apart from that was good stay 👍

Booked for Easter weekend and room wasn’t available at 3:30 despite a 2 pm check in. Room had a strong smell of cigar smoke and we asked to be moved. Next room took another 30 minutes to get ready. In the meantime time we went for a swim, changing rooms were not great. No family changing, pool was closed (2nd time that day, although the receptionist had no idea why) and indoor steam room broken. I cancelled my gym membership with village due to poor upkeep and continuous issues with facilities Didn’t meet expectations at all and wasn’t expecting much due to previous experiences

Shocking trip, used this hotel for year as it’s the Village “flagship” hotel. Checked in fine, first noticed buckets everywhere for a leaking roof, numerous places. Room was a newly upgraded, looked cheap diy job and not the village standards. Went for a swim, no steam room as broken, no sauna as broken, hot tub had numerous bits missing and two jets only working that stuck up into the air, outdoor heated pool was freezing not like normal. Family hanging room was disgusting, at first we thought it was locked, it was a build up of towels, maybe 50 or more behind the door. Family changing room had an empty bottle of beer on the floor and the locker doors had fallen off!!! Also a very strange heat in the family changing room like the sauna was pumping into it or something. Restaurant was terrible and annoyed I purchased a £50 voucher. All most every table around me sent their door back, a female chief screaming out of the kitchen door and my £18.50 burger was raw, so we left them and went to bed. We would have complained, however only a few staff and didn’t want them to get the flack of the screaming chief. Next day went to Toby carvery for breakfast and couldn’t wait to leave. As a member of village I spoke with my local hotel to raise my concerns about the place and even asked if it had been sold to some else or something.
