An absolute disgrace😂 As soon as you walk into the hotel it smells like urine🤮 Walking into the bedroom smelt like damp and looked like a crack den. The wallpaper was half *****ped off the wall, mould all round the window, dirty marks on the bedding, broken table lamp, the shower was extremely dirty, woke up with bites all over my legs after sleeping in the bed and what made it worse was the fact that the woman that runs it was just letting herself into peoples rooms without even knocking. Will definitely NOT be staying here again

The worst hotel imaginable! Wallpaper hanging off with mould growing in the wall, approx 1m from the bed. Dirty carpets and damp throughout. Plaster crumbling from ceilings, broken furniture (including the bed base!), door hanging off, makeshift repairs to holes in wall, no hot water and no light in the en-suite. Rotten floor, dropped when stood on. Referring to this place as a hovel, doesn't do it justice!

I wouldn’t recommend this place to a stray dog. This needs shutting down, it’s a health concern, there is damp everywhere, we have come away with our clothes smelling of mold. The wallpaper throughout the building and more so in the room, was hanging on for dear life. The ceiling looked like it was going to cave in at any given moment and the lighting in the room was not adequate; it was that bad, a candle would have provided better lighting. I’ve never seen anything like it.

As a short notice booking, it looked OK on the booking site. When we arrived the place didn't have much kerb appeal as it is a little scruffy and could do with a wash. Upon entering the staff were most helpful and even helped helped take over luggage to the room. The room was big enough as old Blackpool boarding houses go and had everything you expect, kettle, telly, wardrobe, etc. Also the mattress is very comfortable. The en-suite had a good shower of decent size, flow and temperature and (sorry for the spoiler) disco lights. The room had a good view of the tower and was very handy to pop back to doing the day. We didn't have breakfast as we had an early start but this would have been an extra charge so we didn't lose out. The inside was really clean and welcoming, I would stay here again.

Probably one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. Beds were like bricks, so uncomfortable and slanted so you couldn’t even sleep straight. The hotel stunk like cat litter. No one around to even check you out. Cot was stained and unusable. Only positive was the location but also very noisy!

We booked to stay at this hotel over the bank holiday weekend. Hotel smelt awful, general cleanliness was poor and the room quality was no were near 3*. To make matters worse the roof caved in on the Saturday night and we were forced to leave the room at 4.30am as the room was flooding and we were not given the option of another room! So as a family of three we had to walk around Blackpool in the rain and in the cold! Julia said there was no manager avaliable till 8am so couldn’t do anything about the situation! No empathy and no customer service skills! Would never stay here again!! please read this before booking with them not worth wasting your money on it not possible risk to safety! Will be raising this with *********** and safety hotel standards!

Very very basic, had to wait for someone to come let us into room Breakfast room full if junk Reception area Very unkempt overall Gave us a different room as lock didn't work on original one Room very basic but fairly clean No curtains at windows just very dishevelled badly fitting blinds Towels provided but where unusable as like sandpaper Kettle provided unusable as something growing in it As we left next morning, heavy rain and it was dripping through roof and all down stairway!! Not a good experience at all

We stayed for one night in Chaplin's. We booked directly with them, when we arrived we were told there had been a mix up & we had been booked into a double. No problem we were changed to a triple at no extra cost. We checked breakfast was included and were told it would be in the price we had paid. As you would expect from the prices the place is not the most glamorous, but the rooms are very clean. The furniture is old and falling apart, but there is a clear effort to improve which is evident in the new carpet throughout and the firm mattresses (which for personal preference I like). I got the impression that the owners were fairly new to the property and I appreciate there's only so much you can do at once. Breakfast as others have mentioned is slow (40 minutes) because it's one guy trying to do everything on his own, but it was all cooked fresh and tasted great and the portion was plentiful. Can't really comment on the parking situation as we travelled by train. The location for this is excellent easily walkable for Blackpool North and right in the centre of things. Which does makes it a little bit more noisy at night. My daughter and I slept well but my wife who is a lighter sleeper did say she was woken a couple of times by noise from outside. If you want a luxury getaway this place is not for you. If you are looking for somewhere cheap to lay your head for a night then I'm sure Blackpool can offer much worse.

I wouldn’t bother trying anywhere else, perfect location, I could see tower from my room. Staff were friendly, room was good, price is so low I was amazed how good it was. Breakfast is well under priced and well worth the extra, lovely pot of coffee, orange and apple juice available, along with all the usual cereals. I had full English and it was superb. Can’t recommend enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
