Balmoral Hotel

Just had lovely weekend in The Balmoral hotel, room was absolutely spotless only downside was bathroom,was really small, food was good and shout out to (Keith) the waiter he is an asset to hotel,David on reception is a total gentleman,we arrived Friday and lift broke down on Saturday,not a problem for able bodied,but staff went above and beyond there duty to bring meals up to those not able to get to dinning room,also have to give a huge shout out to Paula,my granddaughter was really ill and Paula came to room and cleaned up and gave us clean towels till next morning, definitely would recommend this hotel

overall this hotel is good . the sea front location is ideal . the room was clean and the bed comfortable also has usb charging points .meals were excellent with a choice of mains every night (must mention Keith one of the waiters who made us most welcome in the restaurant and gave advice on things to do in blackpool ) entertainment was in the next door craig y don . 2 cabarets plus bingo on the friday and saturday all four were very good sunday bingo only . the only downside was the heating in the bar / and lounge .we arrived early so our room wasnt ready so we went into the bar and ordered some drinks it was freezing moved the the sea view lounge it was just the same over the weekend had to go into the graig y don lounge to read my morning paper coffees etc on our last day we wernt been picked up until 2pm and had to sit with coats on until the coach arrived . we would use the hotel again but would have to be in the summer

Very small lift could only take one person and suitcase no door so you rise against shaft wall, double room was a joke 11ftx8ft, b/room 6ftx2ft, w/hbasin size of a shoe box, shower was 2ftx2ft, you can’t bend down in it, b/room furniture was dollhouse size,(useless) 3 hooks on wall served as wardrobe, room was freezing and it took three days to fix radiator meals are awful served with as much finesse as a homeless soup kitchen, dinner plates were cold, toaster took four times to toast the bread and meal ingredients were not very palatable.overall this hotel is a great big no no, don’t go here!!!!

Lovely stay in the Balmoral hotel. New decorated hotel our family room 318 was spotless clean with plenty of space. Big shout out to Keith our waiter who always went above and beyond making us feel welcome (even giving us some chocolates at dinner).

I had a great time in Blackpool with my son and his friend...the Balmoral hotel was recommended by a friend...he was so right, it was as good as he said...the waiter (( Keith )) was the best part of the holiday he was so helpful not only to me and my son and his friend...I noticed he was so kind to everybody . He is an asset to your hotel

Stayed for two nights April 24 with my daughter and Mum and Dad. We arrived a little early and were given a warm welcome. The team here are a credit to the hotel. Keith looked after us very well in the restaurant and was always helpful and friendly. We were helped to our newly decorated room with our bags by the team too and gave us extra pillows soap and hangers straight away on request. For the money the food was good and we enjoyed a drink and the bingo next door at the Craig y Don which we could access through the restaurant while the weather was so bad. Would definitely recommend and will visit again. Thanks to all the team for a lovely stay.

What a gem. Recently refurbished, this hotel offers a breath of fresh air for Blackpool. The rooms are bright, colourful, airy and as clean as a whistle. The staff are delightful and they couldn’t do enough to make our visit the best it could be. Highly recommended.

Been to The balmoral hotel a few times and always had great food and entertainment the staff very helpful I even got a ground floor room after emailing them before we arrived as it helped with my mobility issues the new look was amazing the shower was a bit larger as well so easier access not much room between bed and toilet access but ok for a short break I didn't really like having to go next door for entertainment again due to mobility issues I know they have lifts but very small so did not feel comfortable going into it entertainment was great all in all I would definitely go back and would recommend this hotel for great staff, food, entertainment

We went in on Monday (01/04/24) to have a quick look at The Balmoral after it had been fully refurbished, I must say we were very impressed, the hotel has transformed into a place like no other. The new receptionist was very friendly when we asked to have a quick look around the hotel, even went out her way to ask if we wanted to see a room but after staying in one of the refurbished rooms in October we knew how lovely the rooms are. What a transformation since last year, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and look forward to returning in July. A Huge Congratulations to The Balmoral on their beautiful refurbishment it looks EXCELLENT. ❤️😍🥳🎉
