San Diego Guest House

All bedrooms are clean fresh linen and fresh towels love this place great people and close to the shows and south pier great places to go for something to eat and not far from the tram stop either .. it’s a great family home for anyone who wants a great place to go to all the best Mary n bill on ur retirement

The San Diego Guest House is a fantastic wee spot! They gave us an amazing welcome, so generous with their time and ready to help out, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The beds and pillows are also seriously comfy, at this price you should 100% grab a room here instead of the chain next door 👍

Me and my partner had a lovely stay, very warm welcome by the hosts, the room and en-suite was perfect and was very quiet which meant we got a good nights sleep. Comfy bed too! The cooked breakfast was amazing too and has filled us for the day, the drinks at the bar were cheap, Brill location which is an added bonus, we will definately stay here again on our next trip to Blackpool, Many thanks again!

I stayed here on my own 16th / 17th September 2022 to see the Illuminations. Lovely, cosy, homely feel. Prices are really good and the rooms are lovely. Very basic, but very clean. Mary & Bill are very welcoming.

We stayed here having never stayed in a B&B and only big hotel chains before and honestly after our experience here I will always choose a B&B and when we come back to Blackpool this will be 100% the place we book again! The cleanliness was insane it was cleaned at least once a day and we were offered in our very short stay a change of bedding half way through! The entire place was immaculate and smelt lovely. The room had all the facilities that were needed and was super convenient with excellent Wi-Fi! Mary and Bill were the loveliest people and made our time such a cozy, friendly stay, always asking us if everything was okay and interested to see what we were doing. Overall was an incredible place I’d give it a 10/10 in all fields and would love to return! Thank you so much for making our week perfect!!

This is my second visit here. As usual, Bill and Mary were fantastic hosts. The room (and entire guest house ) is spotless, and, like last time the breakfast was fresh, hot,and plentiful. (Didn't have my breakfast in day two, as we had a late night, and I slept in 🤣) We , rather stupidly, went for a walk next to the sea, when it was absolutely gale force winds, and got drenched, so had to go back and change. The lovely Mary offered to put our soaked jeans in her drier, which was above and beyond, so many thanks for that As usual, a top stay, and will return without a doubt Stephen

I absolutely love this guest house though people don't expect it to be the Hilton if you want that go pay their stupid prices but for price location and lovely hosts I will keep staying with you Mary and Bill at your guest house now I have been recommended this guest house from friends here is to the next trip I am staying with you.

Recently just got back from an overnight stay at San Diego guest house stayed a few years ago and its a great B&B the location is fantastic right by pleasure beach and south pier which is great. Room was very clean and cosy so no complaints the hotel corridors was also very well looked after and very clean shared toilet facilities was also very clean nothing wrong with those Mary the host was very welcoming and had time for you which is lovely to see would stay again in the future

Stayed at San Diego in early September 2021 to enjoy a couple of days in Blackpool. The hosts, Bill and Mary, were lovely and very friendly, and the guest house, and our room, was spotlessly clean. Our room had everything we needed, including hospitality tray, television, and plenty of power points. The shower rooms and toilets were again spotlessly clean. We ordered the cooked breakfast during our stay, and this was cooked to perfection, made to our individual orders as we all wanted something a little different, and the portions were more than enough to set us up for the day ahead. Plenty of tea and coffee to wash it all down with. If you want a clean, comfortable guest house, with lovely hosts, in a prime position for all the main attractions, you cannot go wrong with San Diego. We will definitely be returning.
