This isn't a hotel. It has been converted into self contained apartments. No staff are present at the premises and there are no amenities there outside of the rooms i.e no bar etc. All communication is done by WhatsApp and when something does go wrong as it did for us it's a challenge to try and speak with someone. When i did eventually manage to get through to someone they were clearly based in some form of call centre and had obviously graduated from the Basil Fawlty School of Customer Service. The room we were allocated was dirty, damp and smelt. Apparently the double bed that should have been in there had been removed the week before and had been 'forgotten ' to be put back. Thankfully it had because it meant we had to find somewhere else to stay, despite the very generous offer from Basil to put another single bed in the room! Honestly avoid this place at all cost unless you have just been released from prison in which case they might offer you a room here until they find you something nicer.

OMG this is not a hotel, more like a doss house. No reception to book in, room keys were left in safe boxes which the codes were incorrect. Took ages to get hold of anyone to get the correct code for pick box. No towels or tea/coffee facilities. Ceiling was bulging from previous leak, dodging netting hanging from sky light?? Would hate to think what it was catching. No bar as stated.

This is definitely not a hotel - It is truly at best a refuge /half way house . Looking at previous photos I would say it’s been taken over recently and the rooms rented out . There is no bar , no reception - just a key safe at the front to collect your room key . The door was open when we arrived for anyone to come in . We are a couple celebrating my birthday and chose somewhere cheap and cheerful as we had booked a show in the evening and just wanted somewhere clean to sleep . When we arrived at 4pm we were greeted with a filthy room with one single bed , it stunk of cigarettes , had not seen a cleaner for a long time , the wallpaper was peeling off , cigarette burns everywhere and felt very unsafe . It took us half an hour to contact the ‘management company’ who were not interested whatsoever and were quite rude. They eventually offered to send a care taker round . After an hour and a half wait for a caretaker who still hadn’t arrived, we called back to be offered another single bed in the same filthy room or a move to the Lancaster apartments (please see the one star reviews that mention blood up the walls and a place too dirty to wash) - we declined the offer and at 6pm were running around Blackpool trying to find somewhere else which we found and had to fork out extra . No show pre drinks as planned or even time to get changed. We bumped into the caretaker on the way out who apologised for being late but had been dealing with complaints at the place they had tried to move us to ! Please avoid this hell hole - it is not the same place the owner has the cheek to advertise on the site . I wouldn’t let my dog stay here .

I feel some of the reviews on here are a bit unfair, after all, it's not a 5 star hotel and you aren't paying for that. Fine, clean, staff were friendly and was really convenient for the front. I think a lick of paint outside and cleaning up the yard outside would make a world of difference as it's great inside. NB we did have to pay to park on the main road as was chocka in the area but wasn't too expensive. Private car park on Lytham Road. Overall a very good stay.

We booked this as somewhere to get our head down after a hen party in Blackpool. The two women who checked us in were very friendly. The room was clean and bedding smelt fresh. The bed was comfy enough and we had a decent nights sleep. Location was great, it was close to the tram, car parks, takeaway and Whetherspoons. Could even hear the sea at night when the window was open. We were in room 14. After reading the reviews we didn’t know what to expect, but I would stay here again if we ever visit Blackpool in the future. No complaints for £20pppn.

Absolutely nothing, worst place I have ever stayed in my entire 41 years on the planet - HORROR HOUSE, ran by HORRIBLE PEPOLE!! Dingy, Smelly and probably hasn't been decorated since the 80's - Broken Windows, Stained Carpets, Peeling Wallpaper, Collapsing Ceilings - I have attached Photos!! TV's are Duct Taped to the shelves, Showers are cold, no wardrobe (just a pole on a wall, with hangers), no clean towels, 1 toilet roll an 2 tea bags for a 3 night stay - Place is an absolute disgrace!! Scammed me out of £800, as falsely adverting through ***********, rooms aren't worth 80p!!! I have also raised a complaint directly with *********** and asked this establishment to be removed from their platform. I have directly contacted Environmental Health and I can guarantee you, this place will be getting deservedly closed down! Also, no Reception, Bar is actually only open for 2 hours per day and just a lot of hand written signs, advising customer what to do in the owners absence, which is pretty much all of the time!! When we arrived, we where greeted by Carol & Rick, she was in her pyjamas and bare foot - Bare in mind it was 2.00 in the afternoon and he had totally overwhelmed the place, with hordes of musical equipment! On our 2nd night, we have to knock on a neighbours door, due to the absolutely horrendous noise, only to be attacked by the wife, all hell broke loose and the police were called, this was at 1.00 am. I complained to Carol and advised that I would be requesting a full refund, at which point Rick turned up and said we could have one, but only if we left there and then at 1.00 in the morning, with 4 children, one of whom is severely Autistic. Rick & Carol, then hid for the remainder of our stay, keeping all facilities closed, not even the decency to apologise! Tried to suggest that they have never had a incident like this before, but as you can see from the images, the window has been broken for the inside, there's a hole in a wall, which look's like it's been punched through and the door looks, like it's been kicked through!!

Stayed here for one night at the weekend and found it totally acceptable for what it was. It’s not a 4 or 5* hotel, and that’s not what I paid for or booked. We wanted somewhere to sleep after a fun day at the pleasure beach and an evening of illuminations and a few drinks. The location was ideal for that, being a 3 minute walk to the pleasure beach. Hotel itself was clean, cosy, warm and very quiet. The rooms are small and the bathroom was a cupboard - but I appreciated this way more than a bigger bathroom that would be shared!! We only entered the bar when collecting the keys (from a lovely woman who was cleaning the place) but it looked nice and cosy! Check out was easy - put keys in the side and off you go! Overall it was ideal for what we wanted - actually felt like we were staying the night at a mates house! Clean, great location, felt secure and a relaxed atmosphere.
