Bank St Hotel

Me and my friend was booked in this hotel for a weekend, got there to be greeted by persons standing outside smoking joints and drinking alcohol. This put us off straight away, the rooms were awful, dirty sheets, mould on walls and radiators hanging off the wall, hasten to add we did not stay there we managed to book a b&b round the corner which was lovely!

We booked this hotel months ago. On arrival we discovered the hotel closed a while ago and we were gleefully informed by the locals that the building had been sold. The company, OYO failed to contact us about our booking and when we phoned to find out the situation we were not apologised too, nor helped in anyway. But they were happy enough to take our money. Don't book this hotel and don't ever use OYO as they can't be trusted

A friend in my group had booked the accommodation but had only seen the photos of what it was like under previous management as that is how they advertise it. I can assure anyone thinking of booking this you will not find a clean or safe space to rest for the evening. We were a hen do group so literally all we required was somewhere to get changed and fall asleep after a night out, not the Ritz but clean and secure. The bride to be had looked at her room just to ensure we were right to want to leave after what we rocked up to and ohh were we! Her bedding was full of stains. I didn't look at my room, the front of the building was enough for me, I did however venture to the porch where you are greeted with a stinking rotten couch I can only assume they have pulled out of a back alley and the room where our luggage was being held, (we had had it dropped off for us), was beyond filthy and absolutely stunk! When we were retrieving our bags, after 2 hours of being told, "2 minutes", we were told we were lucky to be getting our luggage by the man who had the key to the holding room. From start to finish the experience was awful! I am so thrilled we found clean, welcoming and cost friendly accommodation just across the road and will be leaving a delightful review for them. Whoever has taken over the "OYO" should be ashamed and shut down immediately! Blackpool council needs to investigate this hell hole and ensure the "management", an embarrassment to the profession, NEVER gain rights to premises again! Also, my 1 circle rating is purely so I could post the review, this place isn't worth a minus mark!

Good location as a base for the area we wanted no reception to welcome you .Self checkin using codes to gain keys for access. Clean room a few discrepancies but that’s due tinkers & tear as they say . Enjoyable stay for the one night just be careful of the shower area. Deep step to get in & out . Bland frontage

Do not stay at this hotel, it is so appalling I left without sleeping a single night. Belive me when I say in reality looks nothing like the photos. I didn't feel safe, front door and my room door were unlocked. The room was pokey, old, grimey, kettle and stained cups on the floor, bathroom door was off and propped up against the wall. Shower was dirty, used towel slung over the top. No mattress topper and mattress itself filthy. Pillows were still rolled up and squashed like someone had just got up. Disgusting.
