The President Hotel

Overall this hotel was nice great location, also on the the beach, good transport and easy to walk to town centre, good facilities, only flaw was it was our first visit to the hotel and I booked a family of 5 room with a sea view costing 78 pounds and on arrival was given a family of 4 room with no sea view only costing 65 pounds which I know as it stated the price on the receipt I was given by reception on arrival

Generally a brilliant hotel other than there needs to be more staff. Also the cleaners need to change the beds more often and not say they have cleaned the room when they had not. Overall quite a good hotel great location guy works hard to run the show

From the moment I stepped into the reception, I was greeted with warmth and elegance. The staff exuded professionalism and hospitality, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was nothing short of exceptional. The rooms are basic but spotless clean The staff in this hotel are a credit especially Nathan seen him all day everyday. Ian in the restaurant was well chatty and entertaining. The food was brilliant. Overall great place to stay

Whilst the President Hotel has only a three star rating the staff all carry a FIVE star rating. The two rooms we had overlooked the sea front with large bay windows and comfortable chairs to enjoy the view in. The bedding and towels were immaculate the room clean and refreshing. The dinning room was a pleasure to eat in the food was plentiful and covered every taste again the staff were exemplary and could not do enough for all residents, The bar area was clean tidy with a well stocked bar yet again the staff were marvellous. The evening entertainment was of good quality and involved all who wished to be involved. The reception was always manned and yes yet again the staff were polite courteous and friendly. I was saddened to read poor and inaccurate reviews as we all felt that they were not deserved. A thank you to The President Hotel Staff you are all doing a wonderful job. WE shall return.

Excellent value for money, room cleaned and Serviced, food good home meals and my wife has medical problems so her diet is restricted, the catering staff were great as were the rest of the team!

Dirty bedding sheets that don’t fit the bed. Floor had stains all over it. The window was letting a draft in so room was freezing cold. There was dryed food on walls and also on the bed. Loud noise from the shower and also the roof or some where. Side of the bed there was loads of rubbish and dirt.

As a party of 4 we booked 2 rooms at this hotel, we were a little early to check in so had to wait til 3 to get in our rooms, my daughter jokingly asked the receptionist which of the rooms were the best as she wanted it , he looked at her and said not telling you, you decide, well when we got to our rooms along side each other we open our door to our sea view room and couldn’t see much through the window as it was full of condensation between the glass, great start, we had no wardrobe or set of drawers, only a shelf with coat hangers on it, only 1 small chair in the room so I had to sit on the bed, the room was very small to say the least why we had to wait to get in I don’t know you could hoover it in less than 5 mins it was that small, I went to use the toilet but firstly had to remove toilet roll from holder on the wall as it was to close to the toilet and would push up against your leg, decided to take a shower, both handles on shower door missing screws to hold them on, once I got the temperature right on the shower a little foot spa had appeared as there must be a blockage somewhere as the water was very slow to drain away, anyway that was mine and my wife’s room, now to my daughters and son in laws room, no toilet roll no towels in room, no tea coffee , room clearly not ready, the had wardrobe and chest of drawers, to try and find anyone who works in this hotel was really hard no one about, look your probably thinking why didn’t we just walk out of there well the problem with that was we had already paid for the rooms and were only there for 3 nights, just travelled 4 hrs to get here and wanted to get out and explore so we all agreed to just stay here for now it can’t get any worse !!! WRONG! The hotel is family and pet friendly which is no bother if things are being monitored, nope so from 12 midnight you had kids running up and down corridors just being kids but when your trying to to sleep it’s annoying, next night woken up to dogs barking at around 11pm a couple of doors down, I can only assume that the dogs at least 2 were in the room on there own , and the owners were out, went to reception to try and get this sorted guess what nobody there tung bell still nothing, I know owners to blame leaving dogs alone isn’t good is it, but no hotel patrol at all to put things right, I feel I could go further but you get the drift from what I’ve already wrote, my advise is I wouldn’t stay there again I’ll live and learn , Blackpool is a lovely little place and we will re visit but will not be staying at the president hotel

Lovely greeting by Callum (not so great by the different man when leaving). Ian (stand in chef) was lovely, very friendly and chatty. Disappointed with no shelves in the shower to place your toiletries on, the sea view wasn’t the best (was at the side of the property), there was sweets behind one of the cupboards al over the floor and no evening meal option (just one choice) but overall the stay was made good by Callum and Ian thanks guys

hotel was ok, only a few people staying so the bar was shut, breakfast was very good and a great server on hand. parking was £ 7 pounds so i declined it. parked 25 yds away in the street for free.
